Is Dak officially the best QB in the NFC?

How a player is evaluated goes beyond stats; anyone just going by them is a fool
Mahoones does not have the greatest stats but who ELSE do you choose in the whole NFL to play for you?
No honest football fan who actually keeps up with games would choose anyone else at this time.
some of it is based on historical performance. if Mahomes didn't have that, then he would be average. so the decline in stats has reasons people look into.

Herbert hasn't done it, there is no history. the spirals are pretty though

I think purdy has it easier. He don’t need to take chances and will take what defenses give him. If we had a better O-Line we would be set.

Probably. It's laughable how terrible the NFC QBs are compared to the AFC QBs.

AFC top 8:

1. Mahomes
2. Burrow
3. Allen
4. Herbert
5. Lamar
6. Stroud
7. Tua
8. Lawrence

NFC top 8:

1. Dak
2. Purdy
3. Hurts
4. Goff
5. Stafford
6. Murray
7. Cousins
8. Mayfield

Anyone would take the top 8 from the AFC over anyone from the NFC.
You’re out of your mind. I will take 2 from the afc over him and that’s it

Lamar is about to win his 2nd MVP and you have Herbert who literally has achieved nothing ranked over him?
That’s fair. But what has Josh Allen done? I think he made an AFC championship once, so he’s had more playoff success than Dak. The only QB who’s really had any success in the current league is Mahomes. Stafford won with a loaded team. Burrow made a Super Bowl and another AFC championship. Hurts made a Super Bowl. I’m giving Herbert the benefit of the doubt given how great he’s been in the regular season and how young the other QBs are. We’ll see in a few years.

right now he is, yes. i would bet he has manning numbers on the current 49ers offense.
