Is Dak officially the best QB in the NFC?

Go look then.
Sorry, not going to go try and prove your claim for you...
and if he were to win the MVP and not get to the SB what does it prove?

Say it again...absolutely nothing, say it again.
That to me is a participation trophy for being an outstanding player in the NFL.

I hope Dak is not striving for that like his fanboyz/fangirllies do.

How about rooting for Dak trying to win an Vince Lombardi Trophy.
(naw we just need more stats).

Probably. It's laughable how terrible the NFC QBs are compared to the AFC QBs.

AFC top 8:

1. Mahomes
2. Burrow
3. Allen
4. Herbert
5. Lamar
6. Stroud
7. Tua
8. Lawrence

NFC top 8:

1. Dak
2. Purdy
3. Hurts
4. Goff
5. Stafford
6. Murray
7. Cousins
8. Mayfield

Anyone would take the top 8 from the AFC over anyone from the NFC.
Burrow, Mahomes, Allen and Lamar. Not sure I would take any of the others over Dak. In fact I wouldn’t.

-Herbert has done absolutely nothing with arguably better WR’s and RBs. Dak did way better under KM than Herbert has.
-Lawrence hasn’t done anything and frankly looks bad more times than good
-Give me Dak over Tua, bigger/stronger/faster
-Stroud looks promising but still early. Wouldn’t trade Dak for him.

Some of you are crazy. We are lucky we have Dak.

I'll hafta get back with ya on the decision making cuz I think that is a topic of its own.
Dak's biggest weakness, but also many QBs common weakness.

The great ones are often defined by unbeleivable decisions at the crucial times of the game with unexpected, but successful results. For QBs that is typically how fans define greatness.

It's not something we can measure, but everyone in the stadium is fearful of giving that QB the last possession of the ball because against all odds he is going to win the game.

I'm not sure if Dak is there yet.

Purdy and Dak have had similar seasons this year.
However, the whole best QB thing is silly to me. It also can basically change from year to year.
Last year Dak had a problem at both tackles, poor receivers, and a OC who didn’t pay attention to details or syncing up routes.
This year his OL is a little better in pass pro, and he has a much stronger receiving group, and a better passing offense thanks to Mike, but no run game.

Mahomes is the best QB in the NFL….period. But his receivers stink and his Outs are weak. He is still the same QB, but it just proves that even the best QB cannot win consistently without the OL and receivers.

I think Dak is playing like the best quarterback in the NFL right now AFC or NFC. It’s amazing how Lamar has played two great games and now he is the MVP. His overall stats still does not compare to Dak.

He beat Miami. Not his fault he had Chuma Edoga blocking for him, 7 points taken off the board by Leupke, and a defense that gave up 6 positive plays to Miami on the final drive to destroy our chance of getting the ball back.
Lol, he disappeared the 2nd and 3rd quarters. God forbid our defense gives up 22 whole points.

Every argument you made against Purdy you can make against Dak

It’s close between them. Purdy has much more help. Especially in the run game and on the sidelines
Purdy is a tough one to judge. I've seen him catch on fire, completing everything, and many into tight windows. But take away his best weapons, and get him under pressure, and he is entirely capable of making boneheaded choices. But when he's on a roll, he looks unstoppable.

Dak is not 0-3 against the Purdy led 49ers.
0-2, 1 playoff loss last season and 1 regular season loss this season, the other loss Garropolo was the QB

This looks right. Obviously Purdy has the benefit of a solid OL and running game. Who knows if Jerry will ever build that up again while Dak is playing given the coming cap problems and his general undervaluing of the OL.

And you’ve shown that you know absolutely nothing about football.
ad hominem...and not even good at it. People in religious like bubbles get very personal and upset when it bursts. re: "I quit..."

I think Dak has thrown more TDS than any other QB in the NFL, right? When he had 30 TDs and only 7 INTs he was leading the league.

I would not take an old Rodgers, any age Watson, Richardson, Lawrence, Wilson, or Herbert over Dak.

I would really have to be talked into Tua and want to wait and see about Stroud.
Tua? Not even close to Dak. Stroud….who knows.

I know that if we don’t give Dak a running game, his life is going to be much more difficult. It’s obvious Pollard and (fill in the blank) isn’t the answer. The new scheme helps cover up some of the deficiency in the run game, but I don’t see how we get past a team like SF with no run game.
