You are saying we havn't put a roster around Dak? Or am I misunderstanding that?Well this goes back to my main defense of Dak- it takes an entire team to consistently win games; and unless the quarterback is tossing three pick-sixes every game it's hardly ever just his fault. Dak is like 95 percent of starting quarterbacks in this regard. Cousins has been the same guy on two teams basically.
To illustrate my point, Matthew Stafford, Lions or Matthew Stafford, Rams? Detroit could never put together the coaching staff and roster around Stafford to help him get to the Super Bowl. I hope the Cowboys can do this for Dak someday.
Because worse QB's than him have rings. This can't be denied.
Tebow should be as they are twins when it comes to their mechanics.https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/cowboys-qb-dak-prescott-in-the-same-class-as-kirk-cousins
Cousins is always my go to comparisons for Dak.
llWhat a dumb *** article. First off, Dak has 37 touchdowns not 27.
Secondly, the article acknowledges Dak wins 62 percent of his games and Cousins wins 50 percent of his games. They are not of the same caliber. A lazy comparison made by lazy people……
No. Mountaineer Cowboy enjoys hating on Dak. One thing if you doubt his abilities, but it's another thing to derive personal pleasure from hating Dak.
That said, no - not even close. Cousins - 7 years, 2 playoff appearances. 28.5% of the times. Dak - 5 years, 3 playoff appearances. 60% of the time. Dak is a tier above Cousins. Counting only when they played all or nearly all of the games.
The Cowboys would be comparable to Washington had they followed their lead with Cousins and let Dak walk. In the three full seasons Cousins was the starter in Washington they had one losing season. In the 4 seasons since he’s left they haven’t had any winning seasons and have already wasted a first round pick on a QB that lasted only two seasons. Their record with Cousins as the full-time starter was 26-21. Their record since he left 24-41 and they’re still looking for a QB.
I already know smh….ll
Consider the source.......biggest Karen on the board.
At least the draft gurus would be able to start early. We all know the draft is the real Super Bowl. If you didn't get the 1 pick, did you really have a good season?
Now detect the NFC East teams from these stats and the losing teams we played and you get a realistic stat view of what Prescott talent base level is.....l
If you have the number one overall pick you had a terrible season and it doesn’t guarantee you’re going to get any better. The Jags had the number one overall pick and were terrible again and will once again have the number one overall pick. The draft is a crapshoot. The Cowboys ended up with a better player at number 11 then they would’ve gotten in the top 10.

I think you missed the joke
Washington did the right thing in not paying Cousins. That's not the reason why they are still looking for a QB. They had the 2nd pick in the 2020 NFL draft. They chose a defensive lineman. Maybe they don't want a QB.
It’s hard for me to say they made the right decision when all they did was get inferior quarterbacks to Cousins….Washington did the right thing in not paying Cousins. That's not the reason why they are still looking for a QB. They had the 2nd pick in the 2020 NFL draft. They chose a defensive lineman. Maybe they don't want a QB.
