Is Dak the only super greedy QB in Cowboys history?

Yes, Romo’s contract just a couple days after Flacco was short lived as highest guaranteed contract that offseason.

Well, that's a new addition to the claim.

When most on here talk contracts it's AAV. As with players and various term lengths, it's the constant when comparing players.

If going by guaranteed money, Brady was still # 1 when Romo signed on March 29th.

I have zero interest in rehashing Romo vs Dak debates or the failures of our QB's the past 20 years.

I'm only here to discuss contract numbers.
Its not a Dak debate. Romos career is over. Dak's is still being told. Unfair comparison.

Comparing Dak's contract to Romo's is flawed. Romo's contract was against a 128 Salary Cap. Dak's against a 274 million salary cap.

No sensible person thinks Cabo made any difference
True but it is way more notable to me how some folks remember Cabo with crystal clear clarify--while having complete amnesia how Eli Manning and the Giants' offense ran the field in the final 0:47 seconds of the first half. Same folks do not recall Manning performing a colo-rectal exam on Jacques Reeves in those remaining seconds.

The man gave up 41 yards through the air. Then tacked on an additional 15 more yards for a facemask penalty.

Football is a four-quarter sport. Manning was smiling while taking off the latex gloves. New York's margin of victory was that less-than-a-minute drive. The defense could have surrendered a field goal and Dallas would have still tied or eventually won the game.

That on-the-field nonsense is rarely remembered, if ever. On the other hand, it's Total Recall when it comes to Romo's mini-Cabo vacation, lol.

When you consider the Cowboys standard operating procedure with team building, A QB has absolutely no reason to take a penny less. If you do, it won't be spent to better the team.
Make sure the anti-Dak posters understand this. They won't agree with you concerning Dak and his super greediness.

Wow runner up in MVP voting… like that is some badge of honor…

If Romo had the same lineup as Dak in 2016 he would’ve taken this team farther.
Yes Dak’s stats are better than most… but it means nothing in the end
What? Why didn't Romo take some of the great rosters he been on further?

You're going to act like Romo did not play with prime Dez Bryant, prime gold jacket Jason Witten (who we are still trying to find another TE), Demarco Murray, Terrell Owens who was a beast. Heck our best roster might have been when we had Witten, Terrel Owens, Roy Williams

Or what about 2014 when we had Demarco Murray rush for over 1800 yards, prime Dez who had 16 TDs that year, Gold Jacket Witten, Cole Beasley, Terrance Williams, and a the great wall of China in front of him. We should have went far that year.
Or 2012 Where we had Dez with over 1300 yards and 12 TD's, Miles Austin who had almost 1000 yards receiving, Jason Witten with over 1000 yards receiving. And didn't even make the playoffs.

We should just be lucky we went from Romo to Dak because before Romo and Dak we had some TRASH QB's: From 2001 - 2005 we had these QB's: Drew Bledsoe, Vinny Testaverde, Drew Henson, Quincy Carter, Chad Hutchinson, Anthony Wright, Ryan Leaf. I hope we don't hit that rough patch again anytime soon lol

What exactly is the definition of “super greedy”?

Is Dak super greedy signing for $60 million a yr?

Is Taylor Swift super greedy charging over $500 a ticket to see her live, especially considering the number one demographic that buys her music is young girls between the ages of 8-16, who have little to no income of their own? (Parents buy everything).

Is the Rock super greedy for demanding $40 million to star in the next Fast and Furious, especially considering this is more than any other actor or actress has ever been paid in the history of the franchise, including Vin Diesel?

Does being “super greedy” even exist in a capitalistic society where the value of an asset is solely determined by what somebody is willing to pay for that said asset, be it a good or a service?

Does the concept of greed even exist in a free market capitalist society where buyers and sellers are matched based on supply and demand constraints?

Serious question.
It does if there is a salary cap in place and one knows there are only so many pieces of the pie available to help build a quality playoff capable team. If you deny this, you will fail at building such a quality team of need.
