Is Drew Bledsoe "Good Enough"

I simply do not trust Bledsoe. You can show me all the stats in the world and I will agree they are impressive.

Much like many people want to lay the blame on Peyton Manning for the Colts lack of post season success, I do not believe that Bledsoe has "it" and Manning is much better than Drew Bledsoe.

I will admit, I could be and hope to be proven wrong, but in the end I think we will all be lamenting what could have been.

You have to be kidding me, if anything Manning is on par with Bledsoe. N way is he 'much better' as you put it. What has Manning done with TONS OF WEAPONS AND A STELLAR OLINE? .....

NOTHING....ZERO superbowls, a few playoff wins against overrated teams with horrendous defenses....The EXCUSES for Manning are over, he did nothing even with homefield and a top 5 defense...he's a choking bum

What has Studsoe done with BAD to AVERAGE olines and skill position players?......40,000 yards? 30+ come from behind wins? 2 superbowls? All throwing to players past their prime (Moulds, Glenn, Keyshawn, etc) or no names like Vincent Brisby and Bobby Shaw?

The bottom line is you can call label these claims 'Drewpieisms' or you can face the cold hard facts jack! I'm happy that Studsoe is here in Dallas, he has plenty left in the tank

I was one of Drew Bledsoe's biggest doubters when we got him. I must say that the dude has exceeded any and all my expectations. He has had no Oline and yet he never complained. He has a rocket arm and can still make all the throws. He has no mobility but many quarterbacks have that problem (Manning, Leftwich, etc..). The one thing that most fans hate about Bledsoe is his decision making. The guy makes alot of throws he shouldn't make as a 10 year veteran.

Umm...never mind. I will make a guarantee to you. If you can show me one article or one poll or anything even remotely credible that will back up your claim that Bledsoe is better than Manning I will leave this forum and never post again.

If you can't back that up, I will just let it go. You can keep on posting and being delusional all you want. I will be waiting.

How did he fare against the Patriots in 03' and 04'? So what he beat a Pats team this year that was down to their practice squad defensive players because of injury?

How many superbowls has manning been to? How many times has he been to the AFC Championship? What would he do with a bad line and marginal offensive players like Bledsoe has? How may INT's has Manning thrown in the playoffs??

Also I didn't say Bledstud was better than Manning, if anything they are both on the same plane because of their playoff failures, Mannings of course are worse. But I do think the Stud has a better arm than Manning, and is better in a few other categories. Manning of course beats Drew in a few categories as well

Those numbers are inflated...He had about 11 of those TD's against bad Bronco and Chief defenses in the 03' and 04 playoffs. How bout the TD's he had against the good Pats, Steeler and Titan teams that spanked him during his playoff runs.

Also about 200 of those yards in the steeler game came in garbage time when he was trying to mount a comeback, and failed miserably at doing so. He's lucky the NFL took away a clear cut INT by Palumolu or he wouldn't even had that many yards.

I hate to tell you this, but the only stat that he is going to give any weight to is a Super Bowl win. You can get testimony form every GM in the NFL that Manning is superior and he'll ignore it.
