I was just speaking in terms of a mental lapse in his rookie season
That wasn't a mental lapse. Players today punch the ball like crazy, something you never saw 20 years ago except for rare occasions. It was perfectly timed. Just a great play by the defender.

Flournoy was holding the ball correctly. It just happened.

Good points, man I saw Watt did the, man that is crazy!! Diggs tried to do it, but it probably felt like a feather rubbing your skin!! lol

The one aspect of Flournoy I criticized form the preseason was his ball security. There were two plays specifically where he was too loose with the ball.

Once he figures that out, I think he’ll be a good player. He’s a great athlete, runs sharp routes, is hard to bring down, and catches the ball well.

Wasn’t that his first and only target of his career? Big deal. It didn’t affect the game
