Stats don’t always tell the story

And combining rush and pass yards isn’t it

Lawrence far better passer - which is far more important
Yards are yards though. A 10 yard pass is not different than a 10 yard rush.

Mind you it's worth noting that this season Lawrence has Evan Engram, Christian Kirk, Calvin Ridley, Zay Jones.....Jones had....Engram lol.

Either way though through these few years I think everyone had to expect more from Trevor Lawrence.

Yards are yards. But when it gets down to the nitty gritty defensive coordinators can find answers to stopping your legs far easier than stopping your arm..

If Lawrence wasn’t the 5th highest rated QB to enter the NFL draft and wasn’t selected number one overall, he wouldn’t be seen as anything special. He hasn’t come close to living up to the hype or his draft grades. His career numbers haven’t been that great. So far he only has 55 career TDs and this is his 3rd season.

Really want to see want Daniel Jones can do with a decent oline.

If the world is real...and adversity makes you better...hasnt he had like the worst oline play in the league during his tenor and still kind of patched it together.

My point is...has all the adversity he has faced sped up his decision making skills? Or...has he been a s s regardless.

Seems like he is a candidate for someone that might be better than advertised based on his team.

I mean yeah if we're talking about who's the better player I think most would say Lawrence. He has better arm talent. But as far as production? Production wise a rushing yard is the same as a passing yard. And Trevor should not have similar yards to Daniel Jones on no planet. He's better than that.

@Reality @jazzcat22 please explain to me how these have anything to do with the Cowboys, and posts like these stay on here all the time??

@Risen Star I apologize this isn't meant to bash you or anything, but more about being fair on here with posts that are put and then moved to other locations, my apologies

No. Jones gets more grief than he should though.

The right situation- coaching, teammates, etc... makes a huge difference. There are QB's who have failed that would have thrived in a different situation, and successful ones that would have washed out with a different team.
