He was the qb for the Commanders and they beat the Cowboys in the last game of the season in 2007. Portis was their running back. They weren't the Commanders back then. For some reason this site switches their name like thier former name never existed. I wonder if the hogs in dresses is also offensive.

Comparing the first 48 games doesn't tell you much. Team game and all...

Jones took over an offense that ranked 16th the prior season. He then led offenses that ranked 18th, 31st, 31st, 31st, 15th and 31st*.

Lawrence took over an offense that ranked 30th the prior season, then led them to rankings of 32st, 10th and 10th.

Nobody in their right mind would take Jones over Lawrence.

He is better than Jones! He was drafted by the worst team in the league and those are basic stats but he is asked to carry that team more than Jones. Barkley has been enough of a threat that defenses had to game plan to stop him first and than Jones and the passing game.

I've only seen highlights of Lawrence but he looks like he can make every throw and has some moxie to him. He was pretty bad his rookie year but is on the incline. Jones isn't inept but he has to be crafty to get it done. Either QB is dangerous if you play their game but Trevor is the more pure QB imo so he is the better of the two.

Is Lawrence really on that bad of a team? He’s got a lot of skill position weapons….not sure how good his line and D are, but he’s got plenty of firepower around him on offense.
