Is Giants QB Daniel Jones as good as Trevor Lawrence?

I agree...what's funny, is the higher the draft pedigree the more excuses people make for them. Trevor was labeled elite before he played his first game...he has produced mediocre stats, has an exceptionally hight TO rate (especially if you include fumbles lost) and you have people in this thread already saying he would have better stats if he had better players around him...those exact same posters will post in another thread that an elite QB doesn't need to be carried by talent around him, he elevates the team. It's such a double standard.
Brock Purdy, last year's Mr. Irrelevant, is the odds-on favorite to win NFL MVP.

And the media can't help falling over themselves trying to come up with excuses for why Purdy shouldn't get any credit for his success.

As if Kyle Shanahan is SUCH a wizard that he can turn a scrub into the NFL MVP.

@Reality @jazzcat22 please explain to me how these have anything to do with the Cowboys, and posts like these stay on here all the time??

@Risen Star I apologize this isn't meant to bash you or anything, but more about being fair on here with posts that are put and then moved to other locations, my apologies
WTH? If you don't like what is posted, move on. Where is the 3rd person language. Coog does not like things Coog don't like. Coog says remove posts or Coog will cry like Coog.

To create a false narrative, more realistically.

It's like comparing Jalen Hurts to Lamar Jackson on rushing TDs.
It's the same narrative when they say you have to consider Hurts for MVP because he has 14 rushing tds (even though 12 came as a result of the tush push).

Lawrence's 1st year may as well be thrown out given the total cluster that was going on there.

But although he's shown flashes of greatness at times since then, he has underachieved so far overall.
He is ABSOLUTELY a franchise QB though

Daniel Jones hasn't had it exactly great either.....

..holy smokes. Thats right on par.

From just looking you think Trevor is much better.

Stats tell a story, but not always the complete story. Give me Trevor.
