Is Golden Tate the best Wide Receiver in this year's draft?

You forgot to add that you pimped Chris Johnson in this one.

You know what's even more funnier? I was right and people thought I was crazy for saying it. People found out Chris Johnson was better than a whole lot of people in the draft.:lmao2:

He reminds me of Miles in catching the ball and breaking tackles to take it to the house. Golden Tate has a running back body and wide receiver skills.

Oh yeah. I told everybody about Chris Johnson and people thought I was crazy for saying he's that good.
A lot of us were lovin CJ, so you were not alone. There were some pretty loud detractors though.
Anyway this is not about CJ.

I thought he would be an awesome player in the NFL, as did quite a few other folks that were familiar with Conference USA. It was pretty obvious though that JJ and crew liked Felix.

Dez is the best but if we got Golden Tate I would be smiling all day because I think he is a great player and could help us out.

Tate looks like he'll be a solid WR but not a gamechanger that demands a double team.

guys who make plays are gamechangers.
Crayton can make plays but I wouldn't consider him a game changer.

Of the players who might be available at 27 that I'd like to see Dallas take, Tate's third for me behind Iupati and Pouncey.

If those two are gone, I wouldn't mind at all for Dallas to take Tate (of course, depending somewhat on who else is available).

OK, Earl Thomas would also be in front of Tate, but I don't think there's really a possibility that Thomas will make it to 27.

Im going to ask all the people that thinks Dez Bryant and Damaryius Thomas is better than Golden Tate. What makes you think that these receivers are better than Tate, what are the advantages and disadvantages?

Exactly. Everyone can say they believe Bryant or Thomas the best in the draft but they can't explain why and how.

Dez is better at everything but straight line speed. Happy now?

I have nothing against Tate I'm just not as enamored with a 5'10" WR that others seem to be. I have nothing against ND where he went to school, I watch many ND games and pull for them most of the time. I admit I like having the bigger and taller WR whose speed is just as good as Tate.

DeMaryius Thomas is like Diet Calvin Johnson. He's very good.

I know he broke his foot, but other than that I'm not very familiar with him. Does he have good break-away speed?

I think Damayrius Thomas is going to be the best WR in this class in the future and one of the best in the NFL IMO

They have more physical ability.

I haven't seen a lot of any of these guys, but Thomas is the one I think has tons of potential. Bryant does too, but I suspect he'll always be a headache for whatever team he's on.

what advantages in physical ability? a couple of inches and 10 lbs? Tate is faster, with a RB background he is better after the catch.

And chances are that is why he will end up as a slot WR in the NFL.

Tate will be the best WR in this draft, yes. I think he's alot like like Austin, just more experienced coming out of college.

Too many people look at particulars and miss the bigger picture...Tate's a playmaker; football player
