No frustration. You clearly put those guys in the same light.
All good... Your 2 cent opinion mixed in with other opinions.
That's your spin because you're frustrated with the discussion. Murray isn't close to the caliber of player that Deion and Emmitt was and I've made that perfectly clear but he was as valuable to the Cowboys success in 2014 as Emmitt was to the success of several of the 90's teams. Are you following what I'm saying or are you going to try and twist that? As great as Emmitt's was not once in his 13 year Cowboys career did the Cowboys ever ride him as much as the team rode Murray in 2014. Murray exceeded Emmitt's career high for carries by 24 last season in a league that's dominated by passing. Romo had career lows in attempts and passing yards in which he played at least 15 games all due to the offense riding Murray. The Cowboys wouldn't have sniffed a 12-4 season had Murray not had the great season he did he was the teams MVP.
No back in the history of the franchise ever carried the ball as much as Murray did in 2014 and he was the #1 reason the Cowboys surprised everyone. He accounted for almost 2300 all purpose yards and without his production the Cowboys would have been as bad as everyone predicted prior to the season. He was the difference maker and you're acting like McFadden is an upgrade boasting he will lead the Cowboys to a SB win in 2015. LOL Murray sucked it up and played several games with a broken finger and all you and others have done is disrespect him. His performance took a huge load off Romo's shoulders helping him have the most efficient season of his career. As for Deion he had his best seasons prior to coming to Dallas the Cowboys won 2 SB's before he ever arrived.
The Cowboys didn't need Deion to win a championship they just needed to take him away from SF. His biggest impact on the Cowboys was taking him away from SF after the 94 season. He was the difference maker for the 49ers in 94 having a career year with 6 int's with over 300 return yards and 3 TD's. SF wasn't the same team the following year without that type of impact. We'll see what kind of team the Cowboys have if they don't get near the production Murray had last season. Good luck winning 12 games again and seeing as an efficient a Tomo Romo if there's a significant drop off in the running game.
