Is it possible that Dallas was the second worst team in the playoff field?

We didn’t play well. Contrast this to the SF game last night. The #1 seed in the NFC was one minute from being kicked out of the playoffs. It was not lack of being prepared by the coaches since McCarthy has done this for years, but a team that was either done or assumed they had a week off. That is what needs to be figured out and those guys need to be shown the door.

After witnessing the playoffs, were the NFC east teams the worst in the entire field?
Browns lost by 31...but basically were a shell of themselves after losing RB Chubs, QB Watson, and a number of starters + key rotation players on defense (plus being without a couple of guys on the OLine).
Cowboys were relatively healthy for last Sunday's game.

Yeah.. I get that Browns lost big on the scoreboard but to be honest they were lucky to even be there. They got hammered so hard on injuries this year. I mean Flacco out there at 39 trying to do his thing... and the Texans have shown they are a good unit. They took it right up Ravens for a half.. before Jackson stepped up and took over.

So yeah.. they Browns didn't look good but they have got some legit excuses for me.

We don’t have as much talent as people think. Not good enough talent for sure.

I agree especially at RB. Look at these teams playing today. All have young stud Rbs combined with decent qbs. We have a average/below avg choke artist QB with absolutely no RB.

We choked. This was a good team. Philly choked as well. Philly and Cowboys are better than what they showed. I think one thing for sure though is all of these teams are on a similar level...

mr McK---- i think its not that easy to say....reason why....the parity in the league much do to rules and length

of season....any team can beat any other team on any given day.....so its so important to keep emotional

strength and health at peek...you need player leadership and coaching leadership and we dont have

enough during playoff stress level...and we do not adjust quickly enough game time my lowly opinion?

DC is inconsitant because occasionally all that talent can overcome poor coaching.

I was thinking that if you lined us up against every team in the playoffs, who would I have reasonable confidence we could beat. Eagles were the only one that popped to mind.

Every other team seemed to be focused, disciplined and \ or just better than us in the trenches.

Watching good football each year end helps clean the palate from the crap we are fed.

Browns were terrible but they had Flacco. Eagles were terrible but they lost 5 of the last 6. Dolphins played in terrible weather against a dynasty. Rams almost beat the Lions. Steelers played decent for having no QB. The Cowboys were embarrassed at home in a dome in warm weather against a 7 seed.
