He's a detriment. The coaching staff should bench him, but I'm not sure the coaching staff makes those decisions.

I bench McClain next week or outright cut him. Jason needs to send a message. Start Gatchkar and get Wilson in there. We also have the LB coming of PUP we could use. McClain has no interest in playing this year and I'm surprised the coaching staff hasn't seen it earlier. But as always it takes weeks to make any kind of decision with this staff.

Season is done. Send a message. For the record on my numerous posts on this subject, I didnt particularly want him back this year. I want guys who are all in. He isnt.

Team conditioning has been coming up and watching last night he was enemy #1. I thought he was injured at times but it was just doubled over from getting his butt kicked and being tired.

The LBs took a step back when he joined the active roster. Very disappointing.

Of course, he took out Lee and Hitchens yesterday, so now he has to keep playing.

Bench is too nice of a word why not ship him out with FEDEX. He should of stayed on the Weight Watchers program as he was a force last year.

I guess it depends on what you want out of this season. If you're hoping for a top 5 pick, continue to play guys like McClain who looks lost and Wilcox who looks like a rb playing safety. If you want to figure out this roster for next year they need to start playing other guys to figure out what they either have or don't have.

For the record, no way JG is benching these guys. They just need to watch more tape and battle a little harder.

I would start Gachkar in the middle, McClain is a bad virus which needs to be removed before it infects the entire team-might have already done so.

This is the McClain that got cut by the Raiders. Last year he had incentive and he should have been released when he got suspended.

Camp Bubblewrap should at least focus on conditioning. If you can't hit or be hit, get in shape.

It is Week 9 and our DL was gassed in the first. RoMc is out of shape and had nothing to do for 4 months but train. McFadden needed another IV and needed a sub that never came.

I was surprised the brain trust brought him back after his disappearing act at the end of last season. Just too unreliable IMO.

And people laughed @ me for taking LBer Paul Dawson in our mock draft last year. Agree, about not trusting him. I thought he quit in the Green Bay playoff loss...and that should have been a red flag right there.

People that laugh @ the Dawson pick now...need to know 2 things.

1. The information I had...was from the schools official website. Listing his height and weight as 6'2 230lbs (Turned out to be not true)

http://www.gofrogs.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/paul_dawson_803263.html

He was the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year.....

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1996847/paul-dawson

2. When the pick was made this was before the combine....where he completely bombed showing up out of shape.

I've gone on record to say I wouldn't have made the pick after the combine when the info came out about his true height and weight.

But the fact is.....we should have never trusted McClain in the 1st place. With all the red flags that popped up in the off season...we should have known. And I guess in a way we did. We signed Jasper Brinkley. And he didn't play that bad. Too bad we cut him..and went with the flashy McClain instead.

Who is going to replace him?

All our LBers are either injured or having to play positions they are not supposed to be playing.

Like most of this team we are playing with injury.

It's just one of those years.
