The guy has some quickness and strength. 6'1" 210lbs.... 4.40 in the 40 yard dash....10' broad jump and 22 reps on the bench press and a 37" vertical. I had no idea he was that athletic. He has 2 forced fumbles and 4 picks in what little play he's seen. He's also a devastating hitter. He's 25 years old so he's still a young guy. I think anyone would admit that even with his limited playing time he makes plays. Are the Cowboys considering starting him? I think he would do fine, or at least give him a chance and see what happens.

depends two years ago. no, all of a sudden play maka. kinda like the people who knew Ware had nothing left.
What did he do so poorly 2 years ago? Owned by Megatron a few plays? That's a long line to be in.

I think Heath can be as good overall as Church - he can easily make more impact plays. We keep hearing let's get playmakers, Heath seems to find a way. We'll see.

Remains to be seen. An issue I see is that he is not the tackler that Church was. But he's better in coverage. We'll see how that tradeoff goes.
Church was overrated as a tackler. Heath is far better in coverage. Church was best at lining guys up but I think Byron Jones will be just fine at doing so. For me it makes our defense faster and I love a speedy defense. Man a healthy Jaylon would really be something amazing for this defense.

I don't see why we don't give him a chance unless a can't miss prospect falls into our laps. He's freakishly athletic, has good size, is a solid tackler, is solid in coverage, works hard, continues to improve, and makes plays when he gets a chance. What more does he have to do earn a chance to prove himself?

I'm sorry, I lost consciousness when you said he was freakishly athletic. What was the rest again?
