I keep reading articles like this about Jerry talking about the fortunate situation we have with Zeke and Pollard. No, I'm not calling this a debate. Anyone in the know actually knows these are both very good backs for different reasons, and different situations.

The way I see it, Zeke would be in on passing downs more when blocking is important and we can still find situations for him to help us with, but Pollard should start the game and be the center of attention when we start the game. I think Pollard helps you wear the defense down earlier on more than Zeke. While I think Zeke's numbers would actually increase if he let Pollard open things up for him a little bit.

Just my two cents. I know Zeke will play. That's a given. I just think Zeke will be more effective playing after Pollard as played some.

In Jerry’s last radio interview he said nothing would change between Pollard and Zeke. I think it’s better to have Zeke soften up the defense for Pollard.

Exactly.

Pollard needs to be in early and often because he can spark drives.

Zeke can’t spark a drive and create momentum for the offense at all.

Wow, I remember some talking about Hambone the same way they are talking about Pollard....

How do you not get how moronic this statement is?

If anything Zeke is Hambrick. Watch the games please. Pollard is electric.

Nobody else can wear down a Defense Lake Elliott. That’s why Pollard has been having such a great second half. We definitely need him in there. To see he’s useless is ridiculous buy some of these posters

Zeke did a great job wearing down the Bears…

Zeke has a long list of things he supposedly does that you can’t measure and make him better than Pollard.

On the other hand if you just play Pollard he makes big plays and out produces Zeke.

I think we have Zeke's replacement on the team already. Obviously Pollard the #1rb ,with Malik Davis #2 but Zeke will still be utilized as #1 because that's Jerry's boy.

Zeke can chew up clock, so it makes sense to play him when we have a lead.

Agree.......for whatever reason, our offense has always started slow but you could see a different tempo with Pollard. I'm not sure many remember MM expectation of his offense from the first presser after he was hired and it was very similar to what you are saying here. He wanted a fast-scoring offense to take control of game and turn it over to his DLine. The only difference is we did it last week with 2 Wrs, 3 TEs, and Pollard instead of the primary 3 WR set from the last couple of years.

I think your TEs are more difficult to stop and game plan for, when you have 3 of them on the field, sometimes.

Don’t be ridiculous, you pick out one game to fit your narrative. He’s had an entire career of Helping this franchise besides never said he was better than Pollard. I just keep saying we need them both. Again. You only see what you want to see total tunnel vision

I don’t think we need Zeke. He makes no difference really.

Pollard 1st and 2nd downs between the 20s, Zeke on 3rd downs, short yardage, and red zone.

It's not who spells who, it's using the right one in the right situations.

We’ll see.

If Zeke continues to get more snaps and touches than Pollard, we know the owners top priority isn’t winning.

No way the coaches are that stupid.
But you are.

You give the carries as the game goes. Sometimes Zeke gets more sometimes Tony.

Your priority is hating Zeke. You are more stupid than the coaches.

Please look at the film from the Bears game. That is the formula for victory. We are DAM STUPID if we change the formula.

Why oh why is this so hard to do. We both know they will trot out Zeke to start the game. Maybe starting Pollard over a healthy Zeke lights a fire.

Exactly. This notion of simple idiot math.....is stupid and ignores the important situational football and game adjustment.

These guys think they are experts....they think hating Zeke makes them so cool and really in the know. They...are...blithering idiots.

Be careful what you wish for wanting to resign pollard.
Right? Just have some concerns and thought for the consequences.

Fortunately for these guys.....there aren't any consequences. Best case is they just ignore anything they said. The next best case for them is the weak bs "glad I was wrong" dog food.
