is letting romo play the 1st quarter with 2 rookie tackles a mistake?

the routes don't change with a change in WR's. what does the OL have anything to with timing?
:lmao: there is no more further reason to talk to you about this subject.

I don't think it's a mistake, after all, we're trying to basically put in a new offense - we have a new guard trying to get work in - in case the tackles and their week knees can't go, we need to know if Romo can survive, and Romo needs to some what develope a groove..

It's nothing worse than going in for 1 series, the ball gets batted and intercepted, and then on the second series the RB fumbles and now his 2 series are over.

I didn't know OL Run routes

but okay, again completely ignore points, just to further show your idiocy.

i think it could be:eek:

You're getting pummeled here for your delivery rather than for your topic.

You can make a case that it's not unusual for a starter to play no more than a series or two in the first pre-season game. You can make a case that the first is the least useful preseason game in terms of preparing starters (quality of competition, little game-planning, etc). We've got two injured WRs and two injured OTs. You raise a valid topic.

I almost didn't see it, though, b/c I have you on 'ignore' because I can't endure threads that degenerate into name-calling.

It was proven with the news of Saints Tackle today, players can be injured at anytime. So you can predict, or avoid it. I think Romo should play to get warmed up for the season.

he can work on timing with his wrs when he feels more comfortable with a vet protecting his blindside. you do know that during the season he will have people coming after him. he's not doing 1 on 1 wr drills during the season, guru

I miss steak...

Been eating pinto beans, fried potatoes and cornbread.

No starting tackles or WR's. Lovely. Get ready to run, Tony.

Always nice to see the one person show up that makes me look like a "homer".

Why the quote marks? You don't need them.

Maybe I'm remembering wrong - but didn't Romo play against Seattle last preseason without Flo and TO?

Yes, but he wasn't the savior of the franchise at that time. Now he gets 10 games under his belt, and we have to hold him out... I guess he doesn't need the work now.

Terrible Tackle play here in Dallas past 5 years is nothing new candidly.

Romo needs reps and to deal with the heat off the edges. Actually teams this year will be more intent on pinning Romo INTO the pocket. Romo wants to break containment and improvise. Teams started pinching him up into pocket late last year.

How Jason Garrett adjusts is critical to Romo's succes or failures in 2007.

Logging onto the Zone tonight was a mistake. It has me thinking that my being born was a mistake.
Yeah but that view of the ocean wasn't...

I can't imagine Freeney playing more than 1 series if that.
