The heck with that.

Marion will turn out to be the best RB to ever play the game of professional football.

He will make all other records and RBs before him look like pimples on the butt of humanity once he is done.

There now when others come in and see this thread they should be able to tell from the extreme sarcasm that we think the original post is nuts.:D
I hope so, but not enough sarcasm. Can you lay it on thicker?

Wow, one decisive victory on the road against a tough opponent, and we're now talking about MBIII being the best back in the NFL?

He makes greek statues envious of his physique.

He makes women jealous of his luxurious locks.

He once ran all the way to the top of mount everest and once at the top he was mad because it was not a long enough run to get to his maximum desired heart rate.

He could stiff arm a whole defensive line that was stacked one behind the other and make them fall like a line of dominoes.

He is so powerful that one time while playing in Philly he farted and it created a second crack in the liberty bell.

So far he's been in the important side of the NFL charts.

Marion Barber is third (3rd) in the NFL in Rushing Touchdowns

and

Marion Barber is twelveth (12th) in the NFL in Average and most of the runningbacks that's ahead isn't even starters and haven't had that many carries.

you've got to be kidding. he's a role player. he does it very well, i think, but that is all he is, a role player.

no way you could sub him for LT in san diego and see no dropoff.

ummmm....NO.

JJ and Barber are a nice little tandem, but they are not on the level of Tiki Barber and that beast that comes in for him...I'll bet he's the only backup in the league that defenses would rather see the starter stay in, no matter how well he's doing...lol.

Yeah and troy hambrick had a 5.1 ypc average too...

NEXT!!!!

running on third and long and picking up 12 yards pads stats.

IM NOT SAYING BARBER IS HAMBRICK. what I am saying is consistently trying to run with barber will not produce the same results we get from JJ.

If no one has noticed I have seen julius CARRY lineman for a couple extra yards multiple times this year.

that guy churns his legs too. he just isnt as violent.
Whoa partner, I agree that Barber is not Dallas' top back but he is a pretty remarkable talent, Hambrick came in during mop up times primarily, this man has started and excelled. Let us not forget that he and coveted media darling Laurence Maroney were the thunder and lightning of the Minnesota ground attack in college. It is quite ironic that as a collegiate he played lightning to Maroney's thunder but in Dallas he is the thunder to Julius Jones' lightning quick and shifty style.

Brandon Jacobs? You can make him fumble, but when he plays well i suppose he was evrything that Ron Dayne was thought to be out of college.

that 2nd td was impressive! he dragged the defender from the 7 to the endzone.
The best run I've seen this year.

You know what is a shame? That we won't be able to re-sign him. He knows that he is good enough to be another teams #1 RB, but it won't happen while he is here. JJ is the man and rightfully so.

You gotta love how he was running. On that those TD runs, he just wasn't going to be denied.

He does alot to contribute to this team. He actually does more than Julius Jones.

He runs better, he catches, and he blocks real well. He's the most complete back. Will you ever see Tiki or L.T. take on Julius Peppers or block as well as Marion Barber.

He contributes more to his team than them runningbacks.:starspin

I think Barber goes off on the Colts if we give him a lot of carries. The Colts have the worst rushing D in the league because even with the addy of McFarland they still have a small and light DT corps designed more for pash-rushing than anything else, and Gary Brackett is the smallest MLB in the NFL I think. I bet Barber pounding away up the middle with Hoyte clearing room for him could go for 100 yards.

Wow... just wow.

So he's better than LT because he can pick up a blitz better? Because LT does all those other things better then MB3.

I bet any one on this site if Marion Barber starts he's going to be above LT and TB on the rushing yard charts...im not talking about now im talking about full time starting and not spliting time. Marion Barber is a balanced back. He has the full package.

He runs, blocks, and catch. L.T. just run and catch. TB he runs and he's an inconsistent catcher.

Good to see MArion Barber getting the respect he deserves...Funny how not so long ago people said he wouldnt be anything special...funny how things work lol.

Barber is a great player and one of the best all time players for ... the Giants! Oh, I thought you were talking about Tiki Barber. I was certain no one would use the words "special" and "Marion Barber" in the same sentence.

Marion is a good, tough little back but he's definately not "special". Make him your starter and you might be ok but he won't be going to any Pro Bowls.
