If you're just basing it on viewing, Netflix is better. I probably would not pay for Amazon Prime for their video service, but since I get it with being an Amazon Prime member I will use it occasionally. I have Netflix, Hulu (the one without ads), Sling, Amazon Prime, Disney, a couple of other free APPS, but I rarely watch more than two hours of TV a week. My wife and daughter watch those services. For the record I have never used the program..Now i am exploring the idea of watching it on my pc since we are in isolation .... my question: which one is better Netflix or Amazon? if there is another option would love to hear that too
It depends on what you like. Amazon isn't expensive either, so you can get both and have a ton of very good programming. For the record I have never used the program..Now i am exploring the idea of watching it on my pc since we are in isolation .... my question: which one is better Netflix or Amazon? if there is another option would love to hear that too
thanks a lot Jammer I will check the recommendation. If you're just basing it on viewing, Netflix is better. It doesn't even compare to the CW, as far as trying to force people to understand that the LGBT community is here to stay.We enyoy it. Very worth the 10 bucks, for sure.
But man, are they overly obvious when it comes to pushing their LGBT casting. lol
We have a gay couple as neighbours/friends who sometimes hang out at our place. Between them, some of their friends, my wife and I, and some other couples, we have drinking games with the ongoing force-feeding of their casting.
Just how fast can they one-up the last show? Will young kids be identifying as something else? etc etc And this is on the vast majority of their films and series. Just so unrealistic and obvious.
We assume the actors or writers guild has some sort of quota or something.
But, who cares...we still watch the shows. Just so transparent and noticeable.
Our 12 year old has even gotten to noticing it on even the superhero shows.
I have been with no TV for about 30 years + but since i have free time i would not mind watching some movies ...i do appreciate the guys contribution..I don't watch TV so no service is worth paying for to me. I do watch movies on Kodi or the free Streamo program on my PC. I have a huge monitor screen.
Better Call Saul - My fav show , I hope it goes another season or 2Shunpike, it's easy to gauge the value to you and your family. Track the time spent on each channel. I got Disney+ for The Mandalorian and would have dropped 25 on the Blu Ray so at 6 a month, that was a bargain.
I prefer Netflix and Amazon because of their model of dropping entire seasons at once and saving me the time of recording all the episodes and waiting to watch them as I did with Watchmen, The Outsider and am doing with Better Call Saul.
The only complaint I have about Netflix and Amazon is the onus is on me to find stuff. They'll release new shows or seasons of shows I am following and I have to stay on top of that.
yeah I used to watch a bunch of shows on CW, but now just the last season of supernatural. and when that is gone nothing on CW will interest me.It doesn't even compare to the CW, as far as trying to force people to understand that the LGBT community is here to stay.
Yeah, CW is way over the top too.It doesn't even compare to the CW, as far as trying to force people to understand that the LGBT community is here to stay.

Members of the LGBT community don't want to be thought of as "unusual", and they still are, which is why you notice it when they show it on TV. I think the reason they go "over the top" with it is to make sure it isn't ignored, and to make sure people really see it. As it is now, they're still considered a different culture, and I think they're trying to speed up the process, rather than have it take a few more decades for people to begin really accepting them.Yeah, CW is way over the top too.
I think people get it. It's not 1950. It's like they are saying, hey look, we have this new fangled thing called the automobile. It's so, so old news.
They really don't need to over-exaggerate everything, both LGBT and ethnically, like they do.
But again...whatever. Just an observation of the obvious.
What does your family and you enjoy watching? Netflix's entertainment categories cover Action & Adventure, Anime, Children & Family, Classic, Comedy, Documentary, Drama, Horror, Music, Romantic, Sci-fi & Fantasy, Sports, Thriller and Television Shows. Netflix has a little bit of everything for everyone, so no one can really go wrong subscribing its service in my opinion.First off, I have Verizon FIOS Ultimate HD package with all move channels open except the Porn stuff. HBO, Showtime, Starz, TMC, Epix , Cinemax all included.
I am lucky to still pay under $190 for 1 GB internet speed, and land line along with the TV channels.
We aren't extremely social family. We don't spend too much money on eating out or activities etc. TV is our only luxury so that's why I still justify paying around $185 for all these.
That said, lately we are running out of content and I am thinking about Netflix for some of their private shows etc.
How does Netflix subscribers like it? Do you think its an overkill on top of all movie channels I have?
Comparative research.lol. Thread starts off asking opinions about Netflix and found its way to opinions expressed about The CW's programming.
If CowboysZone is not a slice of Americana, nothing is.
