The author overrates the level of dislike for the Sooners in Texas, in my opinion. Only UT harbors any strong disdain for OU. A&M, Tech, and Baylor are all ambivalent, or at least no more opposed to OU than any other Big 12 team.

OU will play the FIRST EVER regulation football game in the new Dallas Cowboys stadium.

Yeah yeah. The regular season of football, pro or college, will be kicked off by the Sooners and BYU. OU will be the first ever team to play in that stadium in a regular season game.

And those Texans on OU's team should probably bother you a little more than me. I love 'em. They made a good choice. Big XII titles are a mofo.

OU is opening Jerry's world to regulation football, period. There have been concerts and preseason ballgames, but nothing like a season opening football game.
