Is our HB group historically bad?

We also have two rookies on the OL. It's not like these guys are running behind Smith-Leary-Frederick-Martin-Free.
Agree. I think you have a punchers chance of these guys molding into a similar type of unit by the end of the season, but everything has to go right in terms of development and health.

I agree, like I said, there is way more of a chance that this committee looks fabulous than historically bad. Zeke really wasn't bad for the amount of touches he got last year, and I still think Dalvin could surprise... Duece is the interesting one because he could take that next step and be an absolute handful. I think people are also underestimating dowdle and his growth.
Our OLine is too big and talented for it to be a disaster. If they make holes the RB's will make it through.

Keeping receipts, Queen for day Henry, the king 13 carries 47 yards 1 td total JAG for 1 game also to keep up with this place the ravens RB room are historically bad after 1 game since they are dead last and looked like 8mil got you JAG like numbers'...HMMM you can say it's one game but it's better than guessing our run game's gonna be back 'cause now we have an actual game that we can say the Ravens are dead last in their running backroom don't count their quarterback 'cause that's not their running backroom... It says halfback group which by the way I don't people call people halfbacks anymore so this is a total fail from the beginning...IMHO

oh and please don't start with the excuses and it was the line it was the play caller it's not his fault he needed to warm up he needed the ball more, that last nights reaction after the total overreaction by very basic TD run..

back to the running backs so let's go with the overall Ravens running back room last night, hell let's bring the chiefs too and we can't count the running plays by receivers or by quarterbacks 'cause we're talking about the halfback room...

Chiefs RBs. Pacheko 15-45 3YPC not sure who else they used for rb maybe 1 Carson Steele 2 carries 3 yards 1.5 YPC so 17 carries 48 yards for that halfbac room..2.9 YPC

Ravens-henry 13-46 1td 3.5 ypc J HILL?? anyone know this guy? 1 for 3 yards 17 carries for 49 yards 2.9 YOC total

so are we gonna RIP their coaches for not running the ball enough not being effective and having a bunch of nobodies at running back because I saw some names and I saw some backups with no names you're trying to tell me that that Rico dowdle is worse than those two backups and that dalvin cook is worse than those backups?

I mean I'm sure that hunter can do what Carson Steele did since they look like the same type of guy... I mean is that what we're saying is that what we mean historically bad because that's what I saw last night the run calls and the effectiveness of the run game with no depth at running back so hey we should have done that this offseason...LOL let's keep it real though the note is both those defenses are good both those defensive lines are good and that means it's not always about the running backs it's about the offensive line and can they block the guys in front of them effectively that's how you get a good run game it has nothing to do with big name running backs and how much you spend on the running backroom...

So for one game to the original poster how about them halfbacks sure didn't look very good last night did they I'd say that their room looks worse than ours since they played a real game and we have something to judge...

We have two backs that are completely out of gas in Elliott and Cook. And two backs who have done next to nothing in the NFL. We are at a point where Rico Dowdle is our best hope to have an adequate every down back

Is it possible we have one of the worst HB groups of all time. I honestly cant remember a worse group anywhere
Receipts for game 1 ,
