A great scene from a great movie. I had to try.Too many "f" words to post it here.
He's not a 'good guy' or a leader but that doesn't make him a bad guy necessarily either. He's a talented, egotistical guy who is a little overrated frankly. Let me have it....but the truth hurts. He disappears in big games and toward the end of the season. That said, they'll make him the highest paid cat in the league cuz JJ and his boy love the IDEA of Micah more than Micah himself. Most fans love him so yeah...they'll pony up.I don’t think he’s bad. I do think he’s a selfish me first guy and not a team player, but this league has seen many players like that come and go.
Does he stay with this team past his first or 2nd contract? That’s the question. A lot of these players usually don’t stay with the team that drafted them.
The failing, they say, is not "having a podcast" its talking too much between games in the season. Sure you can focus too much on sacks. But just to reiterate I am not (in this first post I made) expressing MY opinions, I am just listing out things I have seen people on this board scrape to use against him, sort of.I can't call him having a podcast as a failure. That seems extreme. As far as too focused on sacks....is there such a thing?
He realizes he’s worth way more than he gets paid. Once he gets paid, he’ll be the good guy again. He’s been this way since college.
He’s always been the “bad guy”.
We just overlook it because he can rush the QB for 11 Weeks a year.
Again? He realizes he’s worth way more than he gets paid. Once he gets paid, he’ll be the good guy again.
This statement might very well be the single biggest issue this organization has. It has happened over and over and over. From Dez to Zeke to Jaylon and on and on and on. A complete and utter lack of critical self evaluation. An organization built entirely on hope.JJ and his boy love the IDEA of Micah more than Micah himself.
