If for no other reason that MP seems to understand there are different ways to attack the blocker. Ware, for whatever reason, largely relied on getting the edge which made him one dimensional. Wasn't til he went to Denver that he really embraced using different methods. He could have been a much better player if he would have done this early in his career.

Ware is going into the Hall of Fame soon. Parsons has exceeded all expectations dramatically, but let's put away the anointing oil for now.

Does Ware go into the HOF without the move to Denver? Super Bowls help everyone that goes in.

Rookie year vs Rookie year I’ll take Parsons so far.

Ware was a bigger player than Parsons, but a speed freak for his size. Parson is a slightly smaller, faster, more elusive player than Ware was. Parsons’ ability to “get small” really is at an elite level.

Parsons would have the edge also in pass defense. He has more potential than Ware and that’s saying a lot.

He's doing well, but let's just stop there, for now.
