I agree. Which is why I rarely speak without knowing what I'm talking about. lol I follow the NFL as close as I do the Cowboys. Maybe you should try a little reading comprehension to go with that snark. Bears acquisition of Ball has nothing to do with whether they bring back Alan Ball. He signed a one year deal, not some multi-year, franchise level deal. There are no reports ruiling out a return for Peanut just because of the regime change. They need bodies. They need depth.
Charles Tillman hints at return to Bears for '15 season
Now that the
Chicago Bears have placed
Charles Tillman on season-ending injured reserve
with a torn triceps, the question is whether the venerable cornerback will return for a 13th season in 2015.
Tillman suggested in a statement Monday that retirement is not on his mind after tearing the same triceps for the second time in 10 months.
"I appreciate the kind words of encouragement and support from all the
Bears fans who have reached out to me," Tillman said, via the Chicago Sun-Times. "I know this feeling way too well, but
this isn't the end of the road for me.

Lance Briggs and Charles Tillman both want to return to the Chicago Bears
By
Lester A. Wiltfong Jr.
@wiltfongjr on Jan 30, 2015,
last year
Charles Tillman ended the season on injured reserve for the
Chicago Bears for the second consecutive time. After the 2013 season, the Bears felt he was rehabbed enough to help them out for another year, so they gave the 32 year old a 1 year deal. This off season, coming off another triceps injury, and another year older, the decision to bring Tillman back rests on an entirely new regime.
Tillman is "excited" about the direction of the Bears franchise now that Fox replaced Marc Trestman as head coach and now that Vic Fangio has replaced Mel Tucker as defensive coordinator. At some point in the near future a decision will be made in regards to bringing back the 12 year veteran for a 13th season, but if it were up to Tillman,
he'd be back.
"I feel good," Tillman said. "Rehabbing, but I feel awesome, like I'm ready to go."
"Yeah, I'd like to be in Chicago," Tillman said. "I'm feeling good, feel great. I've been there 12 years. It would be 13 now. I don't know. We'll see what happens.
