This...
McNabb did Far more with Far less....

Yep. McNabb reminds me of Brady back in the day. Throwing to some very spare receivers but he made it work. I know McNabb gets a lot of flack for losing 3 straight NFC title games and then the Super Bowl and then another NFC title game in 2008 but Romo does not even come close to measuring up to his success. And McNabb is not even a HOFer.

Perhaps. We only beat beat 4 teams with winning records that year. Giants, Green Bay, Washington and Philly. Of those 4 teams, Washington and Philly also beat us and the Giants, as we all know, eliminated us from the playoffs in the 1st Rd.

I'm really not sure how good that team was. I don't think they were bad but I also don't think they were as good as a lot of people thought they were. They went 1-3 in their final four games.

I'll give you this, we were not the same team offensively when TO got hurt but the last Commanders game was a throw away game.

Aside from his few years with T.O., he really never had much to throw to.

Dez has to play WR and CB to keep Romo from throwing 20 + picks a year these days.. What games have u been watching?

But to simplify... is Phillip Rivers a HOF'er?

They're the same guy, but Rivers actually has a bit better numbers.

Neither should be in the HOF at this point in their careers......................like others have said, it sucks for Romo because with a good group of coaches and a good GM surrounding him with talent, he could have accomplished a lot in his career.

However, this is reality and not fantasy and Romo got the bad luck of getting a trainee head coach who blows multiple games a year with horrendous game management and a GM that clearly cant spot talent. So no bust in Canton for Romo, sucks but it is what it is.

He hasn't done himself a lot of favors either.

There is nothing IMO in Tony that screams HOF. Good team. Bad team. Any team.

I just don't see it. He's really good but not elite.
