The media has essentially killed any chance of Romo getting into the HOF without at least one SB. It's unfortunate but it's true.

He certainly has a better shot than Romo at this point. But I think Eli is actually one of the only players who was a shoe-in at one point, but is hurting his case by continuing to play.

2 time super bowl MVP vs a disproportionate number of bad seasons to good ones in an era where Tom Brady, Drew Brees, and Aaron Rodgers have been dominant as well as have rings. Not to mention, he's living in his brother's shadow. And of course, Ben Roethlissberger has the same amount of success plus another appearance and slightly better stats.

Take a look at the HOF QBs and the awards they have won. League MVPs, Super Bowl MVPs, All Pro Teams, All Decade Teams, Multiple Pro Bowl selections as a starter.

It's kind of comical to even have the discussion really.

Heck, he's not even to Rich Gannon level yet and Gannon isn't in the Hall.

Oh, sorry. Thought the thread title was "Is Romo a Hall of Fame QB?". Meaning I would provide my opinion as to is he or isn't he.

Didn't know I needed to bring anything to the table other than a few facts.

And him winning a Super Bowl, as unlikely as it is, is still not getting him in. Again, even with him winning one, compare his Awards with Gannons. No comparison.
