Is Terrance Williams still on the team?

It goes both ways. Williams isnt just disappearing, sometimes the ball just doesnt come his way. Like the 40 yard yard pass to Dez, Williams was wide open across the middle but Romo went deep

He is fine. It's actually Romo I am worried about these past few games except the Giants one.

Williams is open but Romo often chooses to go else where most of the time. In fact that most of the time is check downs which bothers me as it won't get it done with good tackling teams.

Watch the Chicago game. WRs open including Williams and Bryant often but Romo is playing very conservative or still hurt. Holding the ball too long and then just dump off pass to RB. Romo is not himself.

The announcers were saying, with a lead, Romo was taking the sure play and get a first down. He had a few guys open down the field, but instead of taking that chance, take the first down.

I think Romo played fantastic, and made the right choices. He played to win, and not to lose, at the same time. Take the win, who cares if Dez had one or two less catches, or if Williams had none.

We won, move onto the next game for them, we get to enjoy a win for 10 days.

they should use his body catching for 1vs1 slants, he never gets doubled so its a safe throw

I don't know if the problem is Williams play or the fact the Romo, the OC, or JG, etc aren't going to him.

IMHO, they need to get him going a bit as they head into the playoffs. If teams don't feel threatened at all by Williams are just going to redirect their defensive emphasis even more to Dez and Murray.

They will have to if we want to beat a fast and physical team like Philly

One thing that really stood out to me in the last 2 games is that last night both teams were playing at the same speed. Last week, Philly was playing much faster than we were. Could have been tired legs for us or that Philly is just faster

Sort of like what jimmy built when he came to the NFL, big hogs on OL, rotate multiple DL and speed at LB and secondary. Philly is not a flash in the pan.

I agree with we won and move on. He did what was needed.

I disagree that he was fantastic. He is holding on to the ball way longer than I like to see. It's fine against a bad team but you can't do that against any good teams that we will be facing. Other teams will tackle alot better than Chicago on those check downs.

Michael Irvin made a pregame comment. About the cold weather, said Dez is a hands catcher, and may be a factor, so he may need to body catch. Irvin said he himself was a body catcher, so colder weather he was ok.

So if body catching is good enough for Irvin, then it's good enough for Williams, then it's good enough with me.

Irvin said he was a body catcher because he had to catch so many slants. He mentioned this few other times that when you are going to the middle of the field to make a catch, you want to catch with your body to protect yourself from getting a big hit.

I think he is a deep threat guy and team does not go deep. I also think Romo does not trust him after his lack of effort last game against Philly.

That, and the fact if he isn't beating a guy deep he is completely useless.

You accidentally under throw a ball to this guy, forget it. It's picked all day. He can't go up and fight for a ball. It has to be near his chest/body.

It's rare dude will use his hands, and when he does, it looks so un-natural

Last five games:

5 catches, 75 yards, 0 TD

Having him as a threat opposite Bryant early in the season was a big factor in our six-game winning streak, but he has fallen off the grid since then.

I think his broken finger comes into play here.

I wouldn't worry.

He's a keeper

This. As much as I'm a Twill fan, bottom line is, with the way he catches the football, it makes him a risky target.

Williams has been open. Romo just isn't getting him the ball. Not sure if it's because Romo is just settling on forcing the ball to Bryant or Witten first then check down so say Beasley.

But as said above, even in some of the clips last night, Williams was open and Romo simply chose to go elsewhere.

I don't think Romo trust him after that give up play on Thanksgiving....................he is not going to fight for the ball or become a defender and knock the ball down if its a bad throw.............unless you hit him in stride, it going to be a pick.

Just saying.

Williams was open all night Thursday. I can't say he's not been disappearing in other games, but it was clear as day that he was getting open last night. #9 just wasn't throwing him the rock. I really don't care as long as somebody's moving the chains though.
