Is Terrance Williams still on the team?

I have that feeling as well, perry. The Romo post game interview with NFL Network was posted in another thread:

http://www.dallascowboys.com/video/2014/12/05/tony-romo-joins-thursday-night-football-postgame-show

At the 7:00 mark, Romo mentions Williams. It appears that there are options before he gets to Williams i.e., Dez and Witten. In fact, on the deep ball to Dez, TV replay showed Williams open . . . even Nantz mentioned that Romo had his choice which receiver to pick. He went deep. I have no problem with that.

Edit: Ah, Future beat me to it!

He went deep and underthrew the ball by 5-10 yards. If that's Rodgers, it's a seed down the sideline for a TD.

Romo's arm strength is really lacking, and could POTENTIALLY be holding the offense back a little bit...especially considering our vertical based offense and the ability Bryant has down the field.

I don't think Romo trust him after that give up play on Thanksgiving....................he is not going to fight for the ball or become a defender and knock the ball down if its a bad throw.............unless you hit him in stride, it going to be a pick.

Just saying.

TWill only had 3 receptions in the 3 games prior to the Thanksgiving game.

Any trust issue (which I believe is BS) started before last week.

Yeah, I don't think it has anything to do with trust.

It's the offense. Romo is going to look to Dez, Murray and Witten first and a QB rarely has time (or need) to get to his 4th or 5th read.

Last five games:

5 catches, 75 yards, 0 TD

Having him as a threat opposite Bryant early in the season was a big factor in our six-game winning streak, but he has fallen off the grid since then.

Per Sturm:
"As for Williams, he has basically dropped off the stat sheets at the same time as the Romo injury in October. I think those are related. Romo appears to be laboring on throws to the sidelines and that’s where they use Williams. It looks like most of Romo’s completions are in the middle of the field where they are must shorter for a quarterback who is kind of hurting. Credit to Romo for making the throws he can make right now. Williams once again did not play any role tonight."

If that's the case, I'm hoping that these extra few days off will help out.
