Is the Broncos defense enough to beat Panthers?

I don't see Manning faring too well against that constant pressure?

Can they win a 13-10.... 17-13 game?

I think the obvious answer is that a few early turnovers could make a huge difference, but I do think Cam will make plays, even against this defense. They've probably been the most consistent team on offense, with Atlanta being the only team to hold them under 20 points.

On the other side, quality QB's have put up points against Carolina's defense. They gave up 35 to NY, 38 to NO, 26 to Indy in an OT win, 29 to GB, 24 and 23 to Seattle. Their defense is probably a *little* overrated right now because people usually associate the Panthers with a strong defense and because of how Carson played last night, but their defense has been where they're most vulnerable this year. I'm just not convinced Peyton can play at a high level right now. Not only did he keep giving Brady chances in the second half, he wasn't even getting first downs.

I don't know if Manning can get away with the floaters he has been throwing against the Panthers. Coleman and Kuechly in particular have been killing teams this season by anticipating routes and intercepting the football. Should be fun to watch that Broncos Defense against Cam Newton though.

I see the Panthers winning their first Superbowl.

As I mentioned in the other thread, NE was a great matchup for Denver. Denver's defense is specifically able to shut down NE's strengths.

Unfortunately for Denver, Carolina is a horrible matchup. Night and day different strategies when compared to NE. Highly mobile QB, stronger line, good backfield. It could be a long day for Denver.

Carolina should be favored no doubt, but the Broncos shouldn't be counted out. Anything could happen.

I don't think so, however, for the record I thought the Patriots would dominate the Broncos.

Payton's flailing ducks will be the difference maker. He does not have the arm to beat this CAR team IMO.

how old are you people?

this is Ravens vs Giants all over again.
Broncos are the Ravens.
during the next two weeks someone on the Panthers will get injured or arrested for something too and weaken the team just like
Atlanta v Denver.

Carolina has no clue whats about to happen and Peyton wont let Seattle 2.0 happen again.

plus...they just beat a team far superior to the Panthers,twice..with a back up and a starter.

the Super Bowl was the AFC game.

all he Panthers did was have a good day against a team missing 3 defensive starters

Yeah, that's all they did. Oh, and go 16-1 in all their other games this year.

But take away those 17 wins and they suck.

I didnt take away anything. The Falcons went 14-2 the year they lost to Denver.
12-4 vs 15-1 isnt night and day.
none of that matters now.
Everyone knows Denver is winning no matter how much hope you have or stats you memorize.

The line has Panthers -4, and I'm surprised it's that close.

the line has nothing to do with it. Its actually 5.5 too elsewhere
What did the line say about the Pats/Broncos game? it lied,All lines are just lies.
the line is made to tell you what they already think you think will happen.
The public saw Panthers score lots of points so they assume that means Panthers are better team. Thats where the line comes from.
it means nothing

So people assume the Panthers are better (and put money on it) but everyone knows Denver will win? How logical of you.

I'm seeing a lot about Manning this and Manning that. This thread isn't about Manning, it's about the Bronco defense. Two #1 seeds, top offense versus top defense. It comes down to one thing... defense wins championships.
