You have to use context when talking about wins and losses, not just look at the record.4 -1 + Roseman

The past doesn’t matter and to be honest
The better team often loses in the NFL.Yes. I’ve always felt that in one score NFL games the team that makes a critical mistake and loses is almost always the better team. The team that doesn’t make a critical mistake and wins is just lucky. The fact that some of the teams that lost to the Eagles, so far, have managed to lose to other teams doesn’t mean they’re not actually better than the Eagles. It’s just one of those things.
Their running game is mediocre through 5 games. And that's including the QB. Without that, it's abysmal.Timely play making. Refs have assisted them too. Luck of the draw on the schedule. Their defense is suss. Better than ours but beatable. Hurts is mediocre but the oline, RB are elite. That is why they usually win. The running game and line
Hurts leads all QB’s in rush yards and rush TD’s. He has been good running the ball.Their running game is mediocre through 5 games. And that's including the QB. Without that, it's abysmal.
And their running game overall is still only mediocre.Hurts leads all QB’s in rush yards and rush TD’s. He has been good running the ball.
I don't make a habit out of watching Eagles games, but a first read/run QB is exactly what he used to be. I don't know if he improved. Does he sometimes have a 2nd read now? All I remember from Hurts was him dropping back, and 1 second later taking off to his right.Hurts is not a one read QB that takes off at the first sign of trouble. The main reason he gets sacked so much is that he holds the ball too long on some plays looking for the pass, knowing his o-line is giving him 4 secs every drop back. Dak should be so lucky; he might throw for 5000 yards with those tackles.
We're playing the Giants again this year. So Two Superbowls in one year! Not sure, but if we get a few more ties, I think we are Super Bowl bound.
20 wins in 22 games is luck. No other way to explain it.The better team often loses in the NFL.
Unforced errors by your opponent is luck. It is a factor.

its true we are .500 as basically half a team.....If you asked our GM he would tell you "Im all in!""You are what your record says you are." - Bill Parcells
that has to end someday, and wash is the #2 team in Div until cowboys prove otherwise. No team has repeated winning the NFCE last 20 years.
Last year we beat them in Washington and lost to them at home.Dallas is at home. so if they cant beat wash there.......
Moore helped him, of all things. This year, Hurts looked rusty that game against us, as did some of our players, probably because neither team played any starters not rookies during the preseason.I don't make a habit out of watching Eagles games, but a first read/run QB is exactly what he used to be. I don't know if he improved. Does he sometimes have a 2nd read now? All I remember from Hurts was him dropping back, and 1 second later taking off to his right.
You watched our week 1 game, right? He took off every time at the first sign of trouble. As opposed to Justin Fields, who just stood there and took the sack.
Seems like Philly is melting down. Before anyone decides to hurl insults at me, Philly is still the team to beat and most likely sitting atop the division when it's over. Our defense may put us in a hole we can't recover from. Washington doesn't have a good overall roster and the Giants are, well, the Giants.
But things in Philly are getting interesting. Hurts, Brown, and Barkley had a meeting that was picked up by the media. All three say it was just friends and teammates talking about getting the offense on track, but this comes a few days after both Mailata and Johnson spoke out in a way that denoted displeasure with the offense, despite the team's current record.
Famous Chiefs-stan Nick Wright, sharing a mic with Cowturd, suggested that their OC, Patillo, is on the hot seat. Sirianni knows his team is too talented to be playing the way they've been playing. He also knows that ownership in Philly holds people accountable.
In 2022, Sirianni gave up play calling after seven or eight games. The offense took off all the way to the Super Bowl.
In 2023, two new coordinators were allowed to stay all year, and the NFL figured out their high school schemes by week 11. The team tanked in the first round.
In 2024, the unfairly maligned Moore and Fangio took over, and we know what happened.
Jalen Hurts is now, going back to his college years, on his eight different OC.
If Philly falters, what team benefits the most? IMO, our Cowboys. Why?
Two reason stand out that point in that direction. First is that our offense is simply on fire. Part of this might be that we haven't played the best competition in most games, but no team put up these yards and points by accident. Our offense is damn good and can carry us past 2/3's of the league even with the current state of our defense. Is it sustainable? Maybe not through the entire back end of the schedule, but we're probably not dropping 30 points a game every week anyway.
Second, while our schedule is tougher the second half of the season, this is when our wounded on defense return. Overshown will be a massive boost to a LB corps that seems to be one of the worst tackling units in the league. Bland's return will be a boost to a secondary that needs help, to be kind. The return of both players should help the defense greatly.
Should Philly falter, the Cowboys are the team in the best position to take advantage of their fall. Strange things have happened in the past, so who knows what the future holds?
Why even get out of bed in the morning? Eventually we are going to die anyway. What’s even the point?Serious question.
Does it matter?
Because if they do (or even just get a wild card) they are going to get drilled in the playoffs. Again.
so are they imploding, or are they just having a bad week. They are not a power, no matter how much you want them to be.only way we win the east is if the Birds implode
not sure why you keep banging your head against the wall
