If that's not referencing the whole season I don't know what is.

Thank you.

Geez...I really only wanted to see if there was a stat that kept track of negative yardage plays.

:D

I'm starting to understand the members who say that there is a clique in this place that simply sees it as necessary to attack any post and in doing so, discourage people from posting.

...get? We have been seeing eight men in the box or a greater number of run blitzes. Isn't this where Witten or Key underneath is suppose to back off the LBs?

If Parcells is seeing this then we have to find ways of going over the top of the blitz into the vacated zones.

1) Inexperienced OT's - We need Bledsoe December-February

2) Save it for when we really need it. Detroit was never a serious threat and we could get most of what we wanted in the passing game.

alJ started the game and we ROCKED early. He came out and we stalled.

Anyone see AL pulling and getting to second level on the big run plays? I did.

Best game of the year by Alj

We dominated run game and QB pressure was on tackles - not pocket collapsing.....

STATS Inc. keeps track of "stuffs" (runs for negative yardage). Going into today's game, we had the 11th-lowest (11th best) percentage of stuffs, only 11.5 percent. The four worst teams were St. Louis (19.2), Arizona (18.9), Minnesota (17.2) and -- surprisingly -- Seattle (15.9).

So we're actually better than average at not getting stuffed in the running game.

Thank you mucho Adam.

And thank you for pointing out that when I wrote it "seems" we have more negative yardage plays than other teams, that in fact, I was mistaken.

Better still, thank you for posting your response in a well stated, gentlemanly, informative manner.

Well done.

How did Gurode do in the redzone?

It's all monkey see monkey do on this "Al gets blown up" stuff.
