I am 100% certain the Cowboys have the most Cowboys playing for them right now.
H Walker was a former Cowboy who came back to be a Cowboy so it does happen on occasion.
Alvin Harper, Kelvin Martin and Larry Brown did the same.

I didn't remember Larry Brown.
I think it is funny watching Redzone and kickers. It is like so many roads lead to Dallas for kickers. Folk, Suisham, Cundiff, and Forbath. Whoever is scouting and developing kickers for the Cowboys is doing an excellent job.
Larry Brown did come back in 1998. I do not recall that, but he did.
Scott Chandler.
But it is probably a perception due to the fact that even camp bodies develop cult followings.
Case in point, people here still recall Alex Tanney fondly. BTW, he just got added to the Titans practice squad.
I don't know if it's true or not. But, it goes back to a point I've mentioned time and time again...our problem has *not* been finding talent. Our problem has been being able to mesh skill sets and get the players doing what they are best at instead of getting them doing things that they are not good at.
We had a major problem at this with different positions like the safety position where we would really have 2 strong safety types and usually the FS sucked. So it wasn't that the SS wasn't good, but now he is sharing too much of the coverage responsibilities. And it's not that the corners can't play, but they are not getting any help from the safety.
I think part of the issue looking back on it now is that we neglected to value key positions on team because we thought it was 1995 when those positions were not as valuable. Not only does safety come to mind, but center as well. Gurode was big and talented, but he was good for at least 3 awful, mind boggling games a year. And he couldn't do the line calls so we relied on Kyle Kosier to do that. But, Kosier would get injured and then that left us with a center prone to 3-4 awful games a year and not going to be much help to the backup LG. Now we have Frederick and it has completely changed the offense and the center position should be considered more valuable these days with the amount of A-gap blitzing and joker blitzing done by teams.
We finally got some semblance of a good mesh of skill sets at safety. Church being a tackler type that can handle short and intermediate coverage, Wilcox can handle the deep coverage and is a capable tackler himself.
We no longer have Witten running checkdown routes. That belongs more to Murray or Beasley while Witten can do what he does best...block and run routes past the first down marker.
It's been a long time for this to happen and I wouldn't say that I'm confident we are out of the woods, yet. But, we seem to be headed in the right direction.
