yeah, Green Bay at home would be serious and New England is just hard to beat anywhere.

I think we could beat Green Bay in Lambeau Field, especially if it's really cold. We pound the ball, they pound the ball. But I think our offensive line is better.

yeah, chances are there would not be much sleep to go around if that happened.

i really dont think i could sleep but that's part of that "crazy" football fan deep down....:) oh, well keep hope alive.

I think for many they are having a hard time convincing themselves this is a very good football team. We dissect them constantly go on about areas of weakness but looking around the league everyone has an achilles heal to contend with. Dallas has a chance but they must play their game which is very physical style of ball and defense has to be able to step up and make plays, we clearly do not dominate on defense but this unit has made big plays to help this team win

How do we not match up well against GB?

Because we don't get pressure on the qb...gb struggles vs teams that get pressure w their front 4 and play tight on the back end...

IE - lions = loss
Seattle = loss
Kc = beat them a few yrs back

Dallas Is not that team...not even close

I don't think there's a snowballs chance in hell this defense could stand up to GB in Lambeau.

We've beat the best team in the NFC in their own house. No excuses can be given. I think this team is a Superbowl contender. I can't believe I just said that but, it's possible. Who are you scared of and why?
I'm scared of everybody. I believe we can beat anyone, but by the same token, anyone can beat us if enough things fall their way. I'm particularly scared of GB and Seattle. I just think they have better teams than we do. Doesn't mean we can't beat them (as we already proved against Seattle). But am I scared of them? Sure.
Study Buffalo game film...
...and marvel at what a really talented defensive line looks like.

Seattle wasn't playing their best football when the Cowboys beat them back in Oct. They were 3-1 and stumbled the following week after their loss to the Cowboys. At 3-3 they looked like they might not even be in contention by Dec. Currently Seattle is looking like they did last season the Legion of Boom is back. With no dominate teams out there and the way things change from week to week the Cowboys are a legit contender this season. Hard to believe based on what this team looked like during the summer but at 10-4 it's a reality. The only team that scares me would be the Packers especially at Lambeau where the Cowboys have never won a playoff game.

The Packers have looked virtually invincible at Lambeau this season but have looked very beatable on the road however the Cowboys haven't played well at home. The Packers would be the one team the Cowboys would get dissected by regardless where the game is played. Rodgers would have a field day against our defense. I could see the Cowboys beating any team in the NFC but the Packers they simply don't have the defense to defend Rodgers.

Slumping is garbage. They played better than we did and we still won.
Lost to Dallas 30-23
Lost to Rams 28-26
Beat a terrible Carolina team 13-9
Beat a worse Oakland team 30-24
Beat a horrible Giants team 38-17
Lost to Kansas City 24-20

It was at this point when many were saying Seattle may not make the playoffs. There was locker room upheaval when Harvin was traded, Lynch was whining about it and not talking to his HC (still isn't), and rumors that Wilson lost the locker room because he wasn't "black enough".

Call it a slump or what ever you want. But everybody must acknowledge that they are playing a hell of a lot better now than in those 6 games.

And I'm not downgrading that win in Seattle at all. That's THE signature win of the season. That's the win that put this team on the map and has carried this team through to today. It's just that Seattle wasn't playing as they are today. If we play them again and Seattle is at it's best, it's unlikely we can beat them again, especially up there.

Time Of Posession
2.) Dallas 32.21
4.) Seattle 32.06
5.) Detriot 31.59
21.) Green Bay 29.41

They struggle also against teams who don't let them control the pace of the game. By the way, we got 4 sacks against one of the best OL in the league.

I guess we'll agree to disagree. Our offense is way more potent. They would have to shut us down to win. All of our losses have come from Romo not being healthy enough. We have not lost one game when Romo is ready to go. Think about that.

Of course not unbeatable. But I'd put the Patriots, Packers and Seahawks ahead of the rest.

If I'm the Packers, I want to avoid the Seahawks and Cowboys in the postseason.

The Cowboys can beat any team in the NFC, and they can lose to any team in the NFC. A team like Green Bay that has an accurate QB, with the ability to spread the Cowboy defense out and expose the lack of speed throughout the unit is the biggest threat to them. Couple that with how poorly the Cowboys handled blitzes out of the 3-4 from the Commanders and the Eagles, and it's a very tough matchup.

yeah, sorry about that. Their enviroment in a town that someone has to die to get season tickets and are tough as nails there. oh, and its cold as hell and Dallas is a dome team..

Personally, I don't buy in to the weather thing. Every team has to play on the road and at home in different climates and every team has players from all over the country. Realistically, the team that runs the ball well does better in snow and rain. So we got that going for us.

Yeah to go along with the 19 sacks we got the entire rest of the season. Stop. We didn't suddenly discover a pass rush because Sanchez turned into a deer in the headlights at the end of that game.

And all of you dreaming about GB in Lambeau or NE in the SB, you might want to worry about Andrew Luck coming in here, carving up a terrible secondary and knocking us out of everything first.

I'd say Seahawks, Patriots, Packers in order. Perfect answer though. They're all beatable if we play fundamentally sound football.

Seattle wasn't slumping when we played them. They had already beaten GB and Denver in their house when we went up there and whooped em.

Very true. Seems like their little "mini slump" started with us.
