Is there any team unbeatable?

yes we did. earlier in the year. I would argue this seattle team is not the same team it was earlier in the year. they have gotten some o their injured players back and their defense as a result has become the best in the NFL again.

They 3-1 when they faced Dallas, they blew away GB and beat Denver prior to facing the Cowboys and still only 1 home loss this season and that was to the Cowboys.

Well then GB out as well they rank below Dallas on defense. Seahawks have 1 home loss this season yeah that is right at the hands of Dallas even their 12th man could not beat Dallas and their offense? what offense?

well GB lost a bills team that has a really good defense. plus they had a bad offensive game. do we expect that kind of performance from their offense? if they get to play at home, they are tough.

also, this is not the same seattle team we played earlier in the year. they got some injured players back and their defense once again is tops in the NFL. they are giving up 272 yards. if we have to play them, it won't be the same.

They were a top ranked defense when we faced them, I will not make excuses for Dallas loses but I be damned if I will make them for other teams. Dallas was given no chance at all to go into Seattle and win, they had beaten GB and Denver 2 top ranked teams and Dallas goes in an beats them at home, any problems they have are their problems and frankly I think Dallas matches up well with them. Their defensive front is active but the are not overly big and our OL moved them out. They have very little passing game, I think Dallas matches up with them quite well.

still I would hate to face them again. they are tough. they also had struggled a little starting from cowboys game, but seem to have gotten out of their funk and gotten back to their way of football.

yeah we beat them in week 4. but this is week 17. a lot changes during the season. Just being realistic. not dissing our team. we just don't have the scoring power of GB or the defense of seattle. we are not an easy out. teams probably don't like to play us. but I don't think we are ready for a superbowl run. our defense giving up 3rd downs at an alarming rate. and then going back to this last game, despite the victory, we had a team down 21-0 and let them take the lead. we converted 1-9 of our last 3rd down attempts.

Playoffs are tough, any hope to get to the SB you will play very good teams to get there. Hell bring them on

again, I don't deny that. I am not saying we are not a good team (why is it that anytime anyone identifies a gap on our team, people think we are dissing them, etc.). our defense is not there. it can't put consistent pressure. we have one good CM and another one that's called toast.).

we are not an easy out. but neither is seattle if we have to go back there. week 4. playoffs? that's 15 weeks of season and lot changes.

I don't disagree. I want us to get to the playoffs. and hopefully we are on a roll (if we win the last two games, I will say we are on a roll)

Again in post season there are no easy games, Dallas will have to face a Seahawks team or a GB team and while we have weakness so do they. Dallas has to do what they do and that is be physical, control the ball and defense will have to make plays and once again for all the problems the defense has they are 4th in the NFL in take aways, they will not dominate but they will play hard and they make some key plays. Granted it is important offense control the game so that defense is not left hanging but they do manage to make some very key plays if they are kept fresh in games.

Hope Murray can play! Will be interesting to see how Andrew does against our secondary. And they have a great FG kicker. I think the Cowboys will win though.

Those high powered offenses go bump in the night come playoff time/Super Bowl time.

Saints in playoffs.

Buffalo loses all 4 Super Bowls.
Rams lose to Patriots.
Broncos lose to Seahawks.
You're pulling SB's of a different era and comparing them with today's. Defense certainly wins more often than not. However, The Saints and Broncos are/were pass happy teams. Broncos are trying to change that. When the Rams won they had balance. Giants, Steelers, Seahawks, Ravens. All o them could smash the football. Broncos even (last they won). The things that has Dallas 10-4 is a balanced offensive attack ala Seattle. Which is why we match up well with them because, we can control the clock well. So can Indi. The Indi game may be our biggest test yet.

For this Cowboys team, GB is nightmare matchup. A weak pass rush vs. Aaron Rogers is death.

It is bad if the offense can't move the ball vs GB, If Dallas can control the ball and put up points they have a chance.

Actually, I pulled them from more than one era.

It doesn't matter. Same applies. Like I said.

yeah, Green Bay at home would be serious and New England is just hard to beat anywhere.

Greenbay and New England look the toughest, they'd be scarey at home except that Dallas is undefeated on the road.

Seriously though both the Pack and the Pats have more refined and complete squads as well as Seattle and Denver.....Indy will be a tough win they have all three phases of the game covered decently.

The thing that scares me the most is that Dallas is far from complete, meaning the pass rush specifically is a weakness that can be exposed by the likes of a Brady, Rogers or Manning.

Of course Seattle brings a good fight to the table every Sunday for sure, that's a must see slug fest.

Any unbeatable team? Yes but they still have to play the Easter Bunnies and the Tooth Fairies.

Don't get me wrong Red, I'm not entirely disagreeing with you. I understand that our defense is our weakest link. Yet, there's simply no clear cut formula in the last eight years that guarantees playoff success. Some good offenses have won and some good defenses have won, but to be crowned champion it takes more than being good on one side of the ball. In my opinion, the great teams that have some semblance of balance, are who wins titles these days. Time Of Possession is not just a stat that supports the offense but also all three phases. Defense has to get stops, special teams has to roll and the offense has to sustain and score touchdowns efficiently. As scrub as this Defense is, they've been offering up more stops and turnovers than last year which has helped the offense find rhythm and not play on its heels every game. Seattle had a historically great defense last year but also ranked 4th in rushing. Also, Russell Wilson is a special player that keeps that offense balanced and going. Again, we're just throwing opinions on here. I certainly hope that Dallas goes hard next year in trying to attain special players for this defense. We're built a lot like Seattle was in 2012. I knew in 2012 that after their season was over that they'd be monsters the following season. I wasn't wrong. I think Dallas has that same opportunity and every bit of a shot this year if the cards fall right.

Go post. I actually don't disagree with much of this.

I will say that while it is a weakness it does come through. So I can see us stealing one THIS year even with this defense.
