I know am!:cry2:

And I was one of the main people who wanted Parcells gone after the 2006 season. (Mainly because I hate the 3-4 defense) But this team needs his discipline more than ever. This team needs a strong head Coach and somebody who will keep Jerry, The Locker Room and Valley Ranch in check.
I see this team going 5-11 next year.

Where do y'all think this team would be right now if Parcells was still Head Coach?

same amount o penalties, record within 1-2 games and a lot more close finishes with no media access (the only good part IMO)

Yes, I wanted Bill Parcells to stick around one more year.

I just don't think he had another year in him and that is why he left.

Not really he was burned out and did not feel he could do the job any longer it is not the 1st time he has gone through this. He took a front office job with Miami I wish him the best

At least with Parcells I looked forward to the press conferences. Very entertaining. I don't even bother now...Wade bores the heck out of me and doesn't say anything.

His conservative defense really bothered me, but he got the best out of his players. Something Wade has failed to do.

We went to the playoffs with Quincy Carter handing to Troy Hamrbrick for crying out loud.

No I don't miss him. We would still be out of the playoffs if he was here. He was late on starting Romo in 06, didn't win a playoff game or a division title. No I don't miss him at all.

No. His defense/offense was bland at best.

I don't miss him coaching this team, but I do miss the discipline, the attention to detail, and the overall focus on football.

The focus under the owner/gm seems to be striking concession deals with the Yankees, inviting coporate sponsors to a party while practice is going on, and getting the Cowboy brand out there any way possible even if its in a negative light.

You are correct on that.

Huh?

Bill Parcells has made a living fixing these type of problems.

There is no doubt he could fix our problem but he would need Jerry Jones to giveway for it to happen.

I don't so much miss him as I miss what he was building.

We didn't need him to continue here. But, what we could have used was that continuity. And there was NO reason for us to lose it. We could have simply promoted Sparano and kept most of the staff in tact.

Instead we did it Jerry's way.

Not really. Different coaches...same results! Had the same issues when he was here (penalties, sloppy play, no killer instinct). What did BP do that makes him better than WP as it pertains to Dallas? Methinks the problem are the players not the men who guide them. BP= hardass= no playoff wins. WP= softy/"players coach"= no playoff wins...why is this even still a topic?

Unless he can "fix" the culture, he could not fix the problem. He is not a miracle worker. We all know Jerry Jones would never relinquish the kind of control he would need to do the job right.

At least we were respected when he was around.

Now we are the joke of the NFL.
