Yes, based on 2 factors:
- We have nobody better and have not had the foresight from moving on
- Knowing he was going to do this he did NOTHING to give us a shot to go all the way this year, instead ignoring positions of importance
If he planned to sign Dak and go all in, he could have gone harder at RB 1, and upgraded where needed on D without having to poll the scrap heaps. So if Dak gets signed: a team with no RB1 for who knows how long, a WR 1 who is a step away from a hammy, rookies all over the OL, no proven CB 2, no WR 2. This is the perfect formula to move forward signing our 31 year old QB to a new 4-5 year massive contract which will finalize our inability to fix the above
