TBH, along with the long-drawn out erosion of the post Jimmy Johnson years, I think for me it was that Packers playoff embarrassment that "broke something". I felt at the time it was time for a start over. Time for the Jones Klan to sell the team and time for a new era. But all offseason I saw the train wreck and knew they were going to double down on their stupidity for resigning Dak. And I wouldn't have resigned Lamb and would have traded Parsons. It was the right time to go wholesale and gut this team inside out.

And now I am coming to terms that the Dallas Cowboys are going to be bad probably for the next few years. They are stuck with a declining overpaid QB and a FO that no elite HC would ever seriously touch. Any elite coach that would potentially interview for the job right now is only doing so for the PR while they interview for other jobs.

Schotty getting the job would make perfect sense, a coach nobody else wants and when you listen to him talk, it's nothing but BS streaming out of his pinhole. Perfect for the Jones Klan.
