Giving up 74 points in 2 games is not very good. They held the Eagles to 87 yards rushing on 29 carries which is pretty good.

But their pass coverage and pass rush have disappeared. The Eagles have a great offensive line, but still, where is the pass rush? They have 1 sack in the last 3 games. With two CBs out for the season they need a better pass rush than that.

Worse is the pass coverage and it shows in 3rd down situations. The Texans were 7-15 (46%) on third downs. The Jags 8-12 (67%). The Eagles 8-14 (57%). Of course some of that is having short yardage on 3rd down, but it seems like every 3 downs there is at least 1 pass for 8-15 yards. Usually it is a crossing route over the middle, and usually a quick pass. The DBs have got to get on those receivers early on and stick to them. They need to be more aggressive.

My impression when viewing the game was that Diggs was pretty awful yesterday. He bit on the inside move by Brown early for a big gain. He bit on the play action on the pass to Smith who was wide open for a TD when no one covered him. And he was off his receivers on a few other plays as well. He made some bad plays against the Jaguars as well. I think he is getting too wrapped up in getting interceptions when he needs to be the one lock down corner on the team, likehe was earlier in the year.

Other teams are playing with backup CBs and are not giving up the yardage and points the Cowboys are giving up. Quinn needs to get on this problem and solve it.

On a positive note, I think Barr had his best game in a Cowboys uniform yesterday. He was in the hole making plays on the run and stuffing some runs for short gain.
