Is This The Worst Defense in The NFL?

It's crazy to say after how the were performing earlier in the year but it may be true. At the very least it's got to be one of the biggest collapses in a unit over the course of a season. I don't want to hear about injuries either. If LVE and Anthony Brown being out derails the entire D then you've got major problems.

Pretty funny that some posters earlier in the year were literally comparing this D to the 85 Bears.
Stop drinking so much

Well it’s far from the best. I think Quinn has been exposed. Parsons looks cooked. The rest of the pass rush is non existent. Injuries in the secondary. It’s not good right now.

You’re an idiot

They need to clean it up in a hurry. Just a couple of weeks to go before the playoffs start. Can't be playing horrible for over 90% of the game and expect to win in the playoffs.

What is it about football that allows people to abandon all perspective?

For some reason, we're getting everyone's best shot. Minshew avoided sacks all game and got rid of the ball. Despite the two pics, probably his best game ever with a loaded team.

  • They played hard
  • 4 turnovers
  • key stop to clinch the game
  • All against the best offense/team in the league
I've been saying, it would take a team with certain personnel to beat the Eagles, and yes were are one.

What is really funny is that you started this thread and actually put your name on it.

It seems like winning some close games and generating turnovers is blinding people.

Over the last month we are bottom 5 in the league in yards given up, 3rd down defense and points given up.

And that includes games against Minshew, Mills, and Matt Ryan. A lot of delusional fans.
But Philly’s defense gave up 40 points to a team most folks in the message board say has a JV Quarterback and 1 true receiver. Wouldn’t that make them a worse defense than us? No really on a serious note that Philly offense is good. They have 2 legit receivers, a stud TE, and say what you want about Minshew, but he played extremely well today.

So maybe it's the 86 Bears. Whatever, hater.

Hah, half this board was cutting LVE about a month ago. Now, he is a savior.
Funny how one or two games where the cameras show a guy make a play and all of a sudden he’s a savior lol
LVE has played solid this year but we had a terrible run defense with him so a savior would be maybe Mike singletary coming in after an hour in a Time Machine lol

Tell Mike to bring The Fridge with him.

There were plenty of players in the off season who would have solved some of this. Top tier free agents, but Jerry does Jerry things. He's worried about who he's gonna have to pay 3-4 years down the road, so 27 years it is.
