Tiger just turned 39 in December. Given his medical history, yep he's done.
I don't know anything about him personally. I've never read that but haven't exactly looked for it either. I knew about the divorce because that was plastered everywhere.
He has a home on Jupiter Island. I work with some interior designers and am on the island periodically. He does not have a good reputation in how he treats people. I'll leave it at that.
I dont care much about golf but have friends that do and go to tournaments and they say Tiger treats the fans like crap. I dont have any reason to doubt what they say.

Too bad. I think famous athletes/people should always be kind to fans. Even brushing people off you do not have to be rude.
I will watch golf occasionally but sure cannot play & the one time I played was a major fail. Well tried to play.
That game is hard!
That really doesn't surprise me. Everything about him says "Arrogant condescending twit".
Here's what he said as he pulled out of the tournament...
“It’s just my glutes are shutting off. Then they don’t activate and then, hence, it goes into my lower back.”
It was fun to see all the comments about this lol
I've suffered from lower back spasms since an injury in '82 and there's no rhyme or reason for what triggers them. I can physically work my butt off all day, play golf, whatever and have no problems but then reach for a glass off the counter and catch a spasm that drives me to my knees. sucks
The thing that made Woods the player that he was was his unyielding, blinding focus. He had the ability to shut everything out, and just focus on golf. Since the car accident and his dirty laundry with his wife became public, he has lost that focus, and to a degree, his invincibility on the golf course. Players no longer feared playing with him on Sundays.
Now, since he is dealing with a back issue, he can't figure out how to swing the club. He now has a lack of confidence to go with his lack of laser like focus on the course. If he is going to play, and stay on the course, he needs to slow his swing down and lessen the torque on his back. Sacrifice distance for precision.
Truthfully, I think he will never be the dominant force that he was again. Can he get to Nicklaus' record? It will be very hard. No major titles since 2008 - and it won't be easier with rising players such as McIlroy and Fowler to compete with.

PEDs did him in.
There was a time that I thought there was no way that he would not pass Jack on the list of total majors.
