Well I sort of like it that they are thinking outside the box.

Obviously he showed them something on the Scout team that made them think it was worth trying.

I actually thought he had some potential at guard and had some decent athleticism last year in pre-season and didn't think he looked too bad when he got the chance..

I was kind of excited to see what he did this year in training camp. He is sure enough big and strong enough.

He also seems like a good dude when you see him interviewed. Well-spoken young man and I wish him the best and hope that it works.

Hell, you never know!

What if they were going to make a run at Javon Hargrave until Stephen mentioned moving Alarcon?

Lol leave it to this forum to make a practice squad player an issue.
Not only that. He was only on the PS because he didn’t take up a spot lol
But he certainly has the weight to be a one tech but mighty tall
Doesn’t cost anything to look though

Has there ever been a moment where Dallas changed a player's position (not even talking about switching from offense to defense) that worked out for the player?

Yeah I'm sure they actually knew he was on a exemption but theyre miserable so they just cant help it. I think this was the first yr he'd take up a roster spot. Or it might have been last yr.

Honestly he doesn’t cost a roster spot there’s no downside and who knows maybe it’s a positive change at a position of need
Why not?
You never know
Might be a nice rotational one tech. He is a huge guy. He can at least take up some space
