Most didI think we all figured this. I think he will be in this position with the team until he is no longer eligible for the IPP program. Then he will probably be cut.
Or, he improves enough to actually make the roster. He has all the physical skills. From what we saw on Hard Knocks, he needs to learn the nuances of the game.I think we all figured this. That is what some here refuse to see; there is so much for him to learn. Just because he is big strong and athletic does NOT mean he can play football well.Another long term development prospect. Never played a down of college football and has had one full offseason.

A few thought he was gonna be on the canton roster lol
Really looking forward to that Dak attack thread about Issac being the key to the offensive line being dominant again
New rule by the NFL this preseason says after three weeks on PS, they can drop the IPP tag and sign a contract for the Active 53. Player is subjected to regular player status after that. If Cowboys then waive him or release him, he is subjet to waiver wire and is a free agent.can international exemption players still be plucked from Practice squad? I forsee injuries up front
ok so while they are on IPP tag another team cannot grab him?New rule by the NFL this preseason says after three weeks on PS, they can drop the IPP tag and sign a contract for the Active 53. Yup. Each preseason, the NFL assigns an IPP player to each of the four teams in one of the 8 divisions in the NFL. Unless they are released by that team, the IPP player is on that team's Practice Squad each year. Technically, that player is waived, but it is a formality by agreement - that player automatically reverts to the original team's Practice Squad at the beginning of the season.ok so while they are on IPP tag another team cannot grab him?
