Dak Prescott is not a big game player.

So you can feed into whatever delusions you may have about him but when the lights start shining the brightest he plays timid and is waiting on someone else to make a play.

Dallas needs to move on from this. We don’t need to pay this kind of money just to win games that Cooper Rush can win.

Beating the Eagles is not some great accomplishment either that will right all wrongs because we have always been good against division opponents.

Dallas needs to make the switch TODAY to Trey Lance.

Don’t wait around and watch the ending we all know will happen with this QB or we will just see what happened Sunday Night again in the Playoffs.

Why Lance? What has he done? There is a reason why Lance is a benchwarmer.

But I agree that Deek is not a big-game QB.

Trey Lance has never accomplished anything in the NFL. If you want to insert him as the QB1 for the Dallas Cowboys “TODAY” the Cowboys would lose every game for the rest of the season. What kind of sense would that make? And, note, Dak Prescott will still have to be paid. Dak will still get his money. There is no “moving on” from paying him, only playing him. Your suggestion makes no sense.

The only reason Lance was acquired was negotiating leverage with Dak. I'd say it looks laughable now.

Not sure why this keeps coming up. He is the 3rd stringer. If something happened to Dak, Rush would take over.

The bottom line on Lance is simple - he isn't ready. He may not even be ready for the 2024 season.

We don't know if he will ever be ready for the NFL. He could be the future. But that future won't be this year.

None of this has anything to do with Dak.

I'm no Dak fan, but it seems too soon to play Lance. It might be setting him up for failure. He probably isn't getting quality reps in practice, and barely knows the play book.

Yes, put a young man who does not know the offense and can't read a defense in.
Brilliant.

Dak blows out Tom Brady in a playoff game, hitting 75% of his passes for 4 TDs, and it gets forgotten about...

What do we have to lose?

A season of the same ole same ole?
I agree with your sentiments 100% on Dak. But getting Trey killed is not the answer. He can't see the field so he is going to tuck the ball and get obliterated by linebackers. And will lose all confidence in the process.

Let him sit and learn. He is a 3rd string bench warmer for a reason at this point of his career. Destroying him now does nothing for the team.

There's been a lot of talk about receiver separation, or lack thereof. Ferguson had an average of 3 yards of separation, that's 9 ft, Lamb had an average separation of two and a half yards, that's seven and a half feet, gallop was the worst at one and a half yards, that's four and a half feet.
At worse your target has four and a half feet of separation. That's open in the NFL. How much separation does Dak need. That's ridiculous that your franchise quarterback can't fit a ball into a window when the nearest defender is four and a half feet away.

I don’t think they’ll play Lance and he probably doesn’t know the offense well enough, BUT I was watching his play with the 9ers and he has more downfield dime throws in his one year playing than Dak probably has the last 6 years or so combined. I’m not talking caught balls. I’m talking hitting receivers in stride down the field. He definitely has superior mobility and arm talent. Question is, can he process the field

As much as I agree with you I also think the kid needs to play and that’s as big of a problem for him as anything.
