Saw someone say, Lance can’t read the D yet, I am definitely not say he is ready by any means but our current QB is having a hard time reading D’s too.

Trey Lance has never accomplished anything in the NFL. If you want to insert him as the QB1 for the Dallas Cowboys “TODAY” the Cowboys would lose every game for the rest of the season. What kind of sense would that make? And, note, Dak Prescott will still have to be paid. Dak will still get his money. There is no “moving on” from paying him, only playing him. Your suggestion makes no sense.
Makes a lot of sense. The you can get Drake Maye or Caleb Williams

Dak Prescott is not a big game player.

So you can feed into whatever delusions you may have about him but when the lights start shining the brightest he plays timid and is waiting on someone else to make a play.

Dallas needs to move on from this. We don’t need to pay this kind of money just to win games that Cooper Rush can win.

Beating the Eagles is not some great accomplishment either that will right all wrongs because we have always been good against division opponents.

Dallas needs to make the switch TODAY to Trey Lance.

Don’t wait around and watch the ending we all know will happen with this QB or we will just see what happened Sunday Night again in the Playoffs.
I agree with everything you say but I disagree about Dak beating the eagles. I think Dak's play has gotten so bad, I don't think we can beat anyone who doesn't rollover and die. Any team that puts up any type of a fight will punch Dak in the face and he will get frazzled and start making mistakes as usual.

Fans are not going to like it but Dak is getting an extension. The problem for Dak that is it won’t be the $250 million guarantee that he thought he would get before the season started. Dak will probably have to sign an inflated Daniel Jones type extension that has something like 100 million in guaranteed money over 3 years( including next season) with incentives.

Dak plays well in most big games. We all have seen him go head to head in the playoffs with prime Russ, the GOAT, and Rodgers. The problem is the hits and injuries have caught up to Dak. He is afraid to throw interceptions and has lost trust in his eyes. Dak does not see the field very well. It’s a Dak or bust season. It’s still his team. Lance needs time in the system. Right now he is the scout team quarterback. I bet they fast track him in the offseason though.

The consensus is that Lance needs to play. The only way to get him reps ... is to get him reps.

Maybe those reps show improvement, maybe they show you that he isn't the guy. Either way, they accomplish the goal.

We already know continued reps for #4 is a waste of everyone's time.

Would you like to wager on that?

Just because you want an extension for Dak don’t mean it will.
It’s not what I want. Dak’s agent has the Cowboys over a barrel. You have to extend him. The contract is made that way. You hope that it’s cap friendly without a no trade clause this time is your only bet.
