Can't see the forest for the trees. Dak is a symptom, not the disease. Think bigger.
You’re right but I’d rather get him off the field and do things on the field then worry about the orchestrated.

Dak blows out Tom Brady in a playoff game, hitting 75% of his passes for 4 TDs, and it gets forgotten about...
How did he do the following week? or in the playoffs the year before? Look at Tampa's record that year. They got in the playoffs because their entire division sucked. They got in with 8 wins. One good playoff win against a team that really was not a playoff caliber team is not validation that he's great.

Against San Francisco when it mattered most THREE times now he's choked. Two playoff games and the latest fiasco. Add that to the red zone woes and all of the three and outs this season.

Dak is never going to get this team to the conference championship much less a SB. He folds like a lawn chair when it matters most. He gets paid like a QB that steps up and elevates things when it matters. That's not who he is. It's not his fault he's paid that, it's Stephen and Jerry, but Dak will get this team no championships...ever.

That Sir, is the job of leadership and always has been. Coach McCarthy is still working. We shall see before the guillotine is rolled out.

Dak Prescott is not a big game player.

So you can feed into whatever delusions you may have about him but when the lights start shining the brightest he plays timid and is waiting on someone else to make a play.

Dallas needs to move on from this. We don’t need to pay this kind of money just to win games that Cooper Rush can win.

Beating the Eagles is not some great accomplishment either that will right all wrongs because we have always been good against division opponents.

Dallas needs to make the switch TODAY to Trey Lance.

Don’t wait around and watch the ending we all know will happen with this QB or we will just see what happened Sunday Night again in the Playoffs.
Team certainly doesn't appear to be one that shows up in big games, for sure. As for Dak not being a big game player........we've seen this before from our highly paid QB. (oops). Not something we're unfamiliar with.

Yeah, I still expect us to split evenly with the Eagles in the regular season. Division games are always close because there is a lot of emotion involved and the two teams meeting each other know each other well. Worst team in the division beating the Best team in the division is hardly a surprise in any given season.

It's not just big games, it's any team that has a above average defense who can put any kind of pressure on him.
The end of last season, we played a meaningless game against the (team formally known as the Commanders), but their front 4 brought pressure and Dak was helpless. It's not gonna get any better.
He should look like a world beater against LAC , but will faulter the following week.

Not sure why this keeps coming up. He is the 3rd stringer. If something happened to Dak, Rush would take over.

The bottom line on Lance is simple - he isn't ready. He may not even be ready for the 2024 season.

We don't know if he will ever be ready for the NFL. He could be the future. But that future won't be this year.

None of this has anything to do with Dak.
I'm not campaigning for Lance, but there is one question that should be asked. Was Dak ready to be thrown into the fire when Romo went down in 2016? He was no more ready than Lance is today. Dak had to get pre season reps and did well enough to get the starting gig over Mark Sanchez. How can you really evaluate Lance (or other player) if you aren't going to give him some reps?

Yes, put a young man who does not know the offense and can't read a defense in.
Brilliant.
Seems like that describes Dak also.....

But Lance isn’t ready, Maybe later in a stretch of games that can give him confidence later in season
Dak has to man up....

I have always had 2 basics in not believing in the 8 year fraud that is Dak.
One, he makes poor decisions in real time.
And two, was his inconsistency in general, and in knowing this, he could never beat 3 to 4 playoff teams in a row REGARDLESS of coaching or personnel support.

I've yet to see ANY evidence to the contrary.
