It appears the Cowboys have signed Tony Pollard

Anyone else have an issue with T. Pollard's Instagram handle being "Playmaker?"

C'mon man.

Appears? Either they have or they haven't. The pictures would suggest they have so let's not be ambiguous here.

When it is with a capital "P", yeah I have a problem but if they are just calling him a playmaker then I'm fine with it. There is only one "Playmaker" and that's Michael Irvin.

Obviously, no teams were going to start him anyway. The way the commish likes to suspend Zeke, this is the best place Weber. He could be the starter 1/2 of the season is he's patient...

Yep, and knowing what an idiot zeke is, that will probably be before training camp. :muttley:

Pollard can be The Playmaker if he helps us win 3 SBs

-Jackson looks like my cousin.

-Wilson looks as if he is writing an essay for extra credit.

-Weber look like he doesnt want to be here.

-Jelks is concentrated on spelling his name correctly

We are all good to go here.

I don't think Weber is happy to be in Dallas. He thought he was going much higher in the draft and was about to make his name in the league. Instead he's going to spend the next 4 years on a 7th round salary watching Zeke Elliott play.

I'd like to go to my job for half a million dollars a year and watch other people work. But I get your point.

What's up with the other 7 picks? Are they all holding out?
For whatever reason, maybe Pollard’s negotiations were particularly easy?

At any rate, it’s doubtful any of the other DPs are gonna require protracted negotions.

Lower ones are slotted an amount.
They can juggle the numbers about a bit for them.

Higher want to get bonus monies set and some gurantees in place.
That takes meetings - with Stephen.

Isn't this earlier than usual for DAL to sign a rookie?

Pollard not wasting any time...get him a playbook already.

Before the rookie cap, they used to wait a week before TC before they started negotiating. So they could keep any distractions from hold outs to a minimum. Actually pretty much non-existent. Once they put the cap in place, there was no need to wait anymore.
