I told my son during the game that it's time to move Zeke. Pollard looked much better.
The nose ring btw is gross.
I posted this a few weeks back but watch him struggling here. He’s either hyperventilating or something
Often forgotten or not mentioned -- The dude did have covid. I'm not saying that's an excuse or reason why his performance has been lackluster. But the lingering after affects are not fully or currently known. There was also an article recently about the Jags running back who was slated to be their starter this year, over Fornette, but still hasn't recovered from his case of the virus. It seems some individuals have experienced long lasting lung and fatigue issues from contracting it. Not saying this is the case for Zeke. Who knows though..?
Look you're not going to get me to talk negatively about Pollard. I've said he has more juice than Zeke for some time. But come on man. Sample size. The line is bad. And that is going to show itself over 19 carries. Zeke simply is not talented enough or in shape enough to overcome that.Except Pollard in the same game , same O line , same play calling averaged 5.7 per carry at 7 for 40 versus Zeke’s 3.3 at 19 for 63.
I posted this in another thread. Covid compromises the respiratory system. Guess what that would do to you as you tried to train to play professional football? Imagine not being able to breath while you did routine drills? Even if he is fully recovered from the disease it's entirely possible that Zeke's conditioning fell well short of what he is accustomed to coming into the year. The bad part is that he had no way of knowing it.. You run like a sum***** until you're bent over unable to run any more.. And then you do it again and again.. If your lungs have diminished capacity you are literally not building up the conditioning base you think you are.. even though you're doing the same work and feeling just as tired. Zeke and the Cowboys may not even know what is going on.. I suspect that's why he has that puzzled look on his face as he sits on the sidelines.. Like "Why the hell am I tired?" I have a neighbor two doors down who had Covid a couple of months ago.. and he lost 80 pounds and nearly died from it. Now he was a hefty guy in his 50's.. who is considerably less hefty now. But also a lot weaker..
He knew he was “low key faded”?!Maybe that's why he held out when he did. he KNEW how fast he was fading and didn't think he could wait to try to get paid
Its like he got paid and built himself a big new kitchen and just loaded it with hostess cakes.
You’re wasting your time with this guy. Next year it will be seasonal allergies as an excuse.Lmao. Zeke was going downhill way before this Covid stuff. You are making too many excuses for the guy. People need to face the fact that he held Dallas hostage, Jerry gave in and now he has zero desire to go all out. He hit his ceiling and is on the way down now.

Or put another way... Behind this same on-line Ceedee averaged 19 yards per carry. Maybe we should make him our rb using your logic?
I don’t believe Moore is a good match for Zeke. But Zeke still has a lot of blame on his shoulders and I’ve been a bug fan of Zeke the player. He got paid. He has no desire to try any longer. Pollard showed some burst and desire to run the ball. Zeke bogs down this offense. He has zero passion and looks like he does not care any longer.

There is a kid that played at Notre Dame that had COVID before the season snd he decided to skip the season because he still isn’t 100%. So it’s not out of the realm. But it also could be that he is having a normal NFL RB downturn after being used so much
