You got to understand that poly's are not 100% science. I won't go into it but poly's are only as good as the polygrapher. You beat the man, not the machine since it is all about interpretation, which is why they are not used in court.

Exactly, it is not the end all, be all test. I took one for the Houston PD, blatantly lied twice and passed with flying colors :D

I wonder what Jason Witten is thinking and saying when he gets home and talks about this stuff with his wife. He once again has to stand up for a person who in some way shape or form committed domestic violence. Something he is so outspoken about and does so much for in his own time.

It has to be incredibly frustrating. It really is a terrible position for him.

You liked that one huh? Kind of knocked me for a loop tbh. Worst part is people are buying it. That call was an absolute cluster that made me question the competency of the advisors. They were completely unprepared for every question. And these are lawyers. My immediate reaction was they must have been players to admit that in the first paragraph, but no this is a former AG. Ridiculous

I agree with you but what does he have to lose? It's a gold standard for trust in many circles. Sure not 100% science but it would be quite a bit better if he could pass one because this is he said/she said garbage. He passes, lots of heads roll IMO.

Somewhere tonight, Pacman Jones is laughing that he can disrespect and verbally assault police officers and have a terrible track record of personal conduct - yet only receive a one game suspension

The hypocrisy and lack of regulation with these punishments is going to cause major problems down the road

That's not a federally administered polygraph but I hear what you are saying. Lifestyle and CI poly's are a little diff than that one.. Zeke could take 3-4 poly's by different people, if he passes all with flying colors I'd say that is good enough. Not much else he could do at that point. If he knows he would fail, I bet he wont get near it.

We are talking millions of dollars here in salary/endorsements. He should WANT the poly if he is as not guilty as everyone is making out.....

It is mind-boggling in a way, but then again not.

IF (and it is a big if that many -- including Zeke, the Cowboys, and maybe the NFLPA -- dispute) you deem the EE matter to relate to domestic violence

and IF (again, disputed in many quarters) you believe that he likely committed DV,

THEN you have no choice but to impose the minimum 6-game suspension that the policy in force now dictates.

The appeal -- and any subsequent arbitration and/or court proceeding -- will of course be fought over the "IFs" above . . .
