It is setting up nicely for a run

A little premature to be talking about a "run". I'll settle for two in a row at the moment.

I agree..undoubtedly the win last night will have this coaching staff leaning back in their chairs feeling satisfied. I need to see last night every week minus the stupid penalties before even thinking of any kind of run on anything of value.

Yah, I don't believe in that line. Some team doing it once in 100 years doesn't seem like great odds to me. And the Giants defense was all world when they did that down the stretch. Ours isn't.

That's revisionist history. Both times the Giants got in it was pretty much a fluke and they got hot at the right time.

Atlanta just lost to the browns........ Doesn't mean anything I know just wanted to say it

Revenge game. It's certainly winnable, as is the Thanksgiving day home game against the Skins. 6-5 isn't unrealistic. The Saints game will be almost certainly a loss, but we get the Eagles again at home after a 10 day rest and they'll be coming off a road MNF game, a scheduling fluke that I haven't seen in 10 years. Then we end with the Colts, Bucs and Giants.

Yesterday's game was the key to the season.

Ehhh I am done looking ahead with this team. I have heard this every time we win a game and the very next game, we lay a huge egg. I am just going to enjoy the rest of the season game by game. As of now, this team doesn't have the ability to really make a run.

Hopefully after this game Dallas will start playing like Dallas. We still need to learn how to punch it in at the redzone and we can go far.. Seemed like every player after the game already has the mindset of praising the W, but focused on the next game right now
Would you be saying this if Dallas could just learn to punch it in the endzone? All year long i've seen them drive down the field, but just cant punch it in. Dallas playing like dallas wouldnt have this problem.

So what you're saying is "play like we're an 8-8 team" if we're "playing like Dallas". For the last 20 (plus) years our average win/loss record per season has been 8-8...

No. Let's not "play like Dallas" Let's play like a Superbowl winning team (though it's been so long, I forgot what the Dallas Cowboys looked like in the Superbowl). It's well overdue...

If Garrett can't get the Cowboys ready for this game after what Adrian Clayborne did to us, well...
its the 3 game two Thursday 11 day stretch that worries me, thats when they completely went south last year, maybe this time we beat ATL going into the stretch instead of the blowout by the eagles that SNF last year before it..we need momentum

Even a Win in ATL doesnt mean jack if they cant win the next two against Saints and Commanders too. They basically Need to win 7 of 8 to have a Chance for the Playoffs from here on out or hope that the Division keeps sucking and that the injuries are taking a toll on the Skins so 8-8 or 9-7 gets you in.
That’s not true at all. A win is Huge vs Atlanta. They have to go 2-2 in the next 4 then win their last 3.

And along with that momentum, confidence. The OC and players both need absolute confidence in each other. And Cooper continuing to make the DC's a little nervous because now they've got Zeke back on their minds again.

I almost turned it off, watching clapper suck wind and withdraw into his wittle wub fest world of not being a meany... good grief, hes damn lucky that wasn't Rodgers out on the field with 53 seconds to beat his dumb weak arse.
Luck or not, Wentz is no lightweight. Guess we are lucky it was not Brady, or Cam, or whats his name from KC. Whatever the case, everyone thinks Garrett's job is on the line and they would be wrong. It won't be until seasons end.

The only way Garrett's job might (a huge might) be on the line is if we end the season 7-9 or worse... Jerry likes .500 (8-8) teams or he would have done something way before this... And that 7-9 is stretching it

I want Garrett out of here as much as the next person however what's going to happen is at the end of the year, Jerry is going to extend Jason's contract... Fans are praying Garrett would have a bad season and be canned however Garrett is Jones' long lost son, we can go 0-16 and Garrett will still have a job next year and for years to come.

I think the OC would go first.

PHILADELPHIA – It took Jerry Jones a little time to get from his suite inside Lincoln Financial Field to the Dallas Cowboys’ locker room on Sunday night.

Some players were talking about the hows and whys of their 27-20 win against the Philadelphia Eagles. Others were getting dressed, cinching up their ties for the plane ride back home. Others were making sure they had some ice on hand to numb their aches.

Heard clear above it all was Jones, the Cowboys’ owner and general manager, letting loose with a loud “Wooooh,” like he was Ric Flair, as he entered the room. Some players responded with their own “Woooohs.”

We might be the healthiest team in the NFCE now, which is hilarious. Philly just lost Darby for the season. ACL.

Could be but it is also possible they could go 10-6 and win the East. I am just leaving the possibilities out there to extend the season. If I was as certain as you seem to be of failure, I wouldn't waste my time.

At least for now, I choose to look at the possibility of 4-5 and 2-1 in the division as opposed to 3-6 and 1-2.

Deluding yourself can be fun.

You missed the "setting up" part of that. It only sets up if they win in ATL.

Captain Obvious, yes, we missed the "setting up part", sure. I guess any team that wins a game after a loss is "setting up nicely for a run". So they all hope. :p

Dallas is a .500 team over the last 23 years. We ARE “playing like Dallas”.
