It used to be that I couldn't come around here for a couple days after a loss because of all the unwarranted negativity. We sucked, the season is over, fire all the coaches, etc., etc.

Now it appears that's the case after a huge win that solidifies our spot as the best team in the NFL. Uh ... what?

our Defense gave up 30 points before getting bailed out by our offense and that win solidifies were the best team in the league?

There wasn't perfection, or near perfection, and since we didn't just treat the Eagles like they're the Rams or Cincy it means we're going to be crushed later on.

It'll be fine. As the year rolls on, and we get better and better, I think a lot of this stuff will subside.

People are just emotional about their fanhood.

Best team in the NFL my ***.

I was saying yesterday that the Giants were the best by default because they were last year champs

And i got grilled.

People were saying "NO YOU CAN"T SAY WHO IS THE BEST TEAM AFTER 2 GAMES"

So much hypocrisy going on here.

Did I say that? If I said it, I'm a hypocrit. Guess what? I didn't.

So much pessimism, stop making it worse than it is, and we will stop making it better than it is.

Then we can all have ice cream.

How are we the best team in the NFL, considering their are other 2-0 teams?

Hata n da house.....

Giants are soft... Beat up on Rams and foreskins...

Play the eagles and the Giants will lose....

Philly is better than the Gnats

Yep, it's terrible.

The board used to really add a lot to being a fan IMO, because it was great to come here after a win and see how happy and excited everyone was, just like you were.

Now, it's all gloom, doom, *****ing and moaning even after an exciting win over one of the better teams in the league. And even when you point out that the Negative Nellies are making many of the "facts" they cite, and that we actually aren't that bad if you look at what really happened, they don't want to hear it. We suck, ******, because I said so!

I guess we've reached that point in our team life cycle where we can't possibly exceed expectations with some people. It really takes a lot of the fun out of the board for me.

So if it's not sunshine 24-7 you won't come around anymore?

Sorry, it isn't.

I'm glad this team won.

But everything's not perfect.

best team in the NFL? Again, do you think Tony Romo could march into the Linc with Hurd, Austin, and Stanback and drop 30?

Yea

I thought the eagles played the rams?

Wasn't that the sentiment on this board before last night?

And it never will be perfect. There is no such thing as perfection, even on good football teams.

I don't know who the best team in the NFL is, for sure, right now but we're in the running for the talks at this point. But there is no way to proclaim anyone the for sure, certain, best after 2 weeks.

We're one of the best teams in the league, after two weeks, but that doesn't mean anything at the end of the year.

There is only one 'best' team in football each year and that doesn't happen till the very end.

When you pass the bar, sue them. Sue them all.

In the meantime this works.

They did last year.

Have you even bothered to see the personnel on the Eagles D??

1) Their DTs have no pass rushing skills.

2) Trent Cole is too small and gets worn out, while Darren Howard is washed up.

3) Their LBs are young and athletic, but they can't cover worth a crap.

4) Their supposedly 3-headed monster at CB is nothing but hype.

5) Their safeties blow, and Dawk should have retired.
