Wow, you have not changed. And we get a lot of bad bands. We're home to a few as well. I was actually joking. But the city does sort of shut down during this event in a lot of ways. And we get a lot of ugly tourists with a pathetic gleam on their face, like they've never been anywhere before and they act rude.

Really, though, it's the last day today and everyone is going home anyway.

Maybe lick a lollipop or something to cheer up?

Just got back from Austin for SXSW and it was awesome. A week straight of music from the time you wake up till you pass out. What is there to dislike?

I saw that after I posted, but I left it up there anyway. I went down there for a little while and it was a zoo. Downtown is a mess, traffic is horrid and there were drunks all over the road for days. I'm glad it's over with.

I went to the Perez Hilton party at the Austin Music Hall. Macklemore and Fall Out Boy Performed. Drummer for Macklemore got us in VIP. He put on a good show.

The traffic in this city is getting ridiculous. It's been bad but with Austin becoming an "events" town and Californians moving here, it's getting worse and worse. If I didn't have a friend who worked parking downtown, I would have never went.

Yeah, I parked and walked a mile or so down to the "festivities". When I got there, all I found was mostly drunken, belligerent tourists with little to no manners. It seems a lot of the Austin residents just let them have our downtown for a bit until it blows through. I've played several events in the past for SXSW and I usually go. But lately it's been getting out of hand with people who think it's spring break in South Padre or something.

We should catch up for a draft party or a preseason game when the time comes. Would be cool to meet a zoner in the ATX. I've only met one other cowboyszone member in person and that was CowboyDan when I bought a car from him. And I drove to Fort Worth for that. That's a very cool city. I like it better than Dallas, Houston or San Antonio.

I have been to the event many times. Still go to all kinds of music events all over the country.

I wish the local people would stay home at most of these events. If you want to get drunk and talk loudly with your friends, go somewhere else.
